Y/n still felt embarrassed about what happened with Professor Mo. It was hard for her to look at Minji in the eyes during breakfast.

"You're meeting Danielle at school today, right?" Minji asked when she noticed Y/n wasn't eating.

"Yeah," Y/n keep her head down.

Minji knew there was nothing she could do about Y/n's feelings. It had nothing to do with her. She just had to let time go by until Y/n felt better. But that still didn't stop her from loving her girlfriend.

"Can you let me see your beautiful eyes for a second?" She softly requested.

Y/n lifted her head but diverted her eyes to avoid having to look at Minji.

Minji smiled a little and got up to give Y/n a back hug.

"You know, I have a lecture at The University this Wednesday. I can't wait to be in a classroom together again," She whispered in Y/n's ear.

- Y/N POV -

Minji was sweet. She never treated me any different after having an outburst. Of course, I knew that continuing to behave that way would cost me to lose her but I was grateful that she endured it for now.

"You'd be my professor again," I shyly responded with a smile.

I still felt empty, and I had very little energy to do anything, but the thought of having Professor Kim back for a few hours made me happy.

"You'd like that, wouldn't you?" Minji kissed my cheek.

I shyly giggled and nodded.

"Good cus I can't wait to see you in a classroom again," she suddenly pulled my chin to kiss my lips.

I pulled away a bit prematurely because I didn't deserve her love just yet. Not after how I'd been behaving.

"Okay. Well, head over to school. I'll see you after work," Minji cleared her throat before walking over to grab her bag.

I tiredly got up from the dining table and walked her out to her driver.

"Love you. Call me if you need anything," Minji kissed my cheek goodbye.

"Mhm, love you too," I lowly responded.

- Minji POV -

"Hi, Boss!" My assistant, Hanni, greeted when I walked into the building.

"Did you find what I asked?" I immediately questioned.

"Not yet. I haven't found much leads to be able to obtain the information you need," Hanni's answer was disappointing but not surprising.

Over the weekend, I had tasked Hanni with finding Y/n's mom. I needed to know how she even got that letter to my place and what she hoped to accomplished with it.

The only problem was that Y/n never talked about her and there was no one else who knew anything about her.

"I tried asking Sakura-ssi but she said she didn't know. She hasn't seen Y/n's mom in a long time," Hanni informed me.

"Sakura's met her?" I was really surprised.

"Yeah, I guess," Hanni shrugged.

"Send all my paperwork for today to my tablet. I need to go talk to Miyawaki," I ordered before turning back to head to the car.
