Chapa's POV:

Hello, everyone. As you all know, my name is Lula Elena Chapa De Silva, and today, I am gonna teach you all great ways to deal with stress and anxiety. Now, I've dealt with both of these things a lot in my life, such as school, work, my phone, and most of all, fearing that something terrible might happen to my baby Bosey.

You heard it here, everyone. Bose and I are dating, and I love him with all my heart. As long as he's having a great day, I'm having a great day. If he has a bad day, I'm always there to comfort him in my best ways.

Wait... what was I originally talking about?

Ah, yes. I was talking about stress. Now, in order to find ways to deal with stress, you have to really think about it, because stress can come at anytime and any day. Here are some helpful tips from me that can help relieve your stress and anxiety.

Even though they've probably already been talked about a bunch of times, I still wanna share them, too. Quick btw, these all fall under the same topic: grounding.

Tip #1: Music

In times of stress, a great way to relieve it is with music. It's all about finding the right song to connect with. When you do find the right song, put on your headphones, earbuds or airpods, play the song, and close your eyes. With your eyes closed, you'll be able to take in the song more.

Tip #2: Stuffed Animal

If at times you are feeling stressed or anxious about anything, another good reliever is to snuggle with a stuffed animal. It can be a bear, it can be a rabbit, it can be any stuffed animal you choose. Snuggling with it, you'll be able to take in all of its softness and adorableness. I have a lot of stuffed animals for the reason, and I don't care how old I am.

Tip #3: Hugs and Kisses

Now, this one might be similar to the last one, but I promise you, it's not. When it comes to hugs and kisses, this tip is talking about with another person. Whenever I'm feeling stressed, I go to hug and kiss the one person that gives the best hugs and kisses in the world: my baby Bosey. In certain times where I'm stressed to a point where I feel myself start to cry, I always find Bose and immediately wrap my arms around him, letting all my tears out.

I focus on keeping my arms wrapped around his frame, while my head is buried between his shoulder and his neck. I focus on the comforting words he has to offer in his most soothing voice he knows I love to hear.

I take in the feeling of his arms wrapped around my frame, the way he softly and slowly runs his fingers through my hair. It's everything I need to perfectly ground myself in the moment. He always knows how to make things better whenever I cry, and I'm so thankful to have him.

For the kisses, he slowly and gently places his warm and soft lips against mine. At the same time, I lean in and place warm, soft and plump lips on his. We softly engage in the kiss, and I wanna cry at how gentle it is.

Tip #4: Nature

I'm sure you've already heard and/or seen this tip multiple times, but it's one that I really love to share, as I'm sure you can relate, too. In times of stress, another great way to deal with it is to reconnect with nature. Again, I know you've probably already heard this, but I still wanna share because it's one of my favorite tips. There are many different ways to reconnect with nature.

Grass:

Whether it's long and wavy or freshly cut, wet or dry, walking barefoot through the soft grass can be very helpful. Just close your eyes, wiggle your toes in the grass, and just take in the wonderful feeling. Maybe have a giggle or two at the tickling sensation.
