Apocalypse (Part 3)

"Brief" Recap: Captain Man and Danger Force are facing a zombie apocalypse. They figure out that the zombies are actually the people of Swellview that have been turned into these zombies by an new evil villain known as the Zombie Master. As Danger Force was trying to get away after realizing that their powers don't work on the zombified civilians, they catch up and take Chapa as one of them. Back at the Man's Nest, the rest of Danger Force realize they have no choice but to call Henry.

Bose's POV:

Henry answers Ray's call, and is happy to hear his voice after being away for so long. Ray explains the situation to Henry, who can't believe it at first, but wants to come help. Miles teleports to Dystopia and returns with Henry. When there, he and Ray do their usual greeting, and the situation is further explained.

Then, Schwoz comes in with an idea.

Schwoz: "I have an idea!"

Henry: "You found a way to defeat the zombies?"

Schwoz: "Not exactly, but I found a way to keep them from getting into the Man's Nest."

Me: "What is it?"

Schwoz: "Okay, so you remember that machine I strapped Miles to so that he could teleport all the moms into the Man's Nest?"

Captain Man: "Yeah, too bad the moms disappeared after that, but continue."

Schwoz: "I found a way to re-purpose the machine so that Henry can use it to generate his forcefield over the entire Man's Nest!"

Shout-Out: "How long will it take to re-purpose the machine?"

Schwoz: "Shouldn't be too long, I have high hopes for this, though."

Schwoz exits. I sat down on the couch with a worried expression on my face. I wish that I could've been able to save Chapa, but I didn't. I can't imagine what they're doing right now.

AWOL: "Don't worry, bro. We're gonna save Chapa."

Me: "I sure hope so. I mean, if only we knew exactly what the zombies' weaknesses are, then we can use them to defeat Zombie Master and save Chapa, and the citizens of Swellview."

Shout-Out: "I sure hope Schwoz is right about his plan. I mean, last time, it took two whole days for him to even build the machine."

Me: "And two full diapers."

Everyone is silent.

Me: *sighs* "Chapa would've laughed at that if she was here."

Captain Man: "We're gonna save her, buddy. In the meantime, let's just give Schwoz the time he needs to-"

Schwoz comes in with the machine and the chair.

Schwoz: "It is done!"

Henry stands up.

Henry: "Wow, that was fast."

Schwoz: "Right??"

Henry stands up and walks over to the machine.

Henry: "This thing can really generate my powers over the entire Man's Nest?"

Schwoz: "I guarantee it, and I changed it up a bit so that absolutely no one can hack into it this time."

Henry: "Did that really happen?"

Me: "Yeah, that's a long story, though."

Schwoz: "All you need to do is sit down in this chair and I'll strap you in."

Henry: "Okay, then."

Henry sits down and Schwoz straps him in.

Schwoz: "Now, when I turn on the machine, the neuro-kinetic restraints will automatically activate your powers and allow them to be cast over the entire Man's Nest."

During this, I'm looking outside the Man's Nest with binoculars to make sure that the zombie citizens aren't already near the Man's Nest.

Me: "Good thing the zombies aren't near the Man's Nest, so let's do this thing."

Schwoz: "La Cucaracha!"

Everyone, including me, goes silent in surprise when he said that. He turns on the machine, and the restraints start to do their work. Henry's forcefield is activated, and before we knew it, we saw a green aura surrounding the Man's Nest. The machine worked. We all cheered at the success.

Schwoz: "Now, we will need you to stay there until we figure out what to do with the zombies."

Me: "I have an idea that might work."

AWOL: "I'm afraid to ask, but what is it?"

Me: "You know the old saying 'If you can't beat 'em, join 'em?'"

Shout-Out: "Are you saying that we just hand ourselves over to the zombies?"

Me: "Not exactly, but we blend in. We dress like zombies, slip into the crowd, and they can't hurt us."

AWOL: "How are we gonna do that?"

Me: "That new store, Hallo-Scream, should have zombie costumes and makeup. I say we go there."

AWOL: "Well... I guess it's worth a shot. You coming, Ray?"

Captain Man: "Uh-uh, I ain't about to dress up like a freaky zombie. Besides, I don't need to, I'm indestructible."

Shout-Out: "Suit yourself."

After transforming back into our normal clothes, Mika and I gather near Miles and we all teleport to the inside of Hallo-Scream. The building was desolate, and everything was still in its place.

Me: "Alright, now to look for zombie costumes and makeup."

The three of us stick together so that we don't end up getting lost. Pretty soon, we find zombie costumes and grab them. Then, less than a minute after, we find zombie makeup. We go to the back of the store to change out of our superhero costumes and into our zombie disguises.

It didn't take long, and when we were done, we all met outside the changing rooms in our disguises.

Me: "Alright, these are sure to work."

Miles: "I hope you're right."

Me: "This is only part 1 of my plan."

Mika: "There's a part 2?"

Me: "Yep, and it's a surefire way to get everything back to normal. It involves music."

Miles: "Music?"

Me: "That's right. As we go out there and blend in with the crowd, without them seeing, we sneak into that music store, Band Together, and we take the stuff that we need: guitars, amps, drum set, bass, microphones, all that."

Mika: "Where's this going?"

Me: "I once saw a show that said music can reach parts of the brain that words can't, so I'm thinking that's the zombies' weakness: music. The key is to find the right song, though."

Miles: "My guy, I seriously hope you know what you're talking about. This plan better be enough to save everyone in Swellview."

Me: "Even Chapa."

Mika: "Yes, even Chapa."

Suddenly, they hear groaning noises.

Me: "That's gotta be the zombies. They're coming through here. Quick, let's hurry."

The three of us rush to the exit of the store while also trying not to let the zombies see that we're fakes. Once they get close enough, we press on from there.

Me: *whispers* "And... blend."

(Part 4 will be the finale of this little story... probably)
