THE AIR WAS CRISP the wind cold. the seasons were slowly beginning to change, the leaves on the trees turning different hues of orange and yellow. it was comforting to see the weather changing, to see the beauty that the world still found a way to offer. natalia enjoyed the seasons change, enjoying the change from the scorching heat to the cool weather. finding the rustling leaves that scatted along the ground oddly comforting.

her eyes watched out the window, looking at the leaves that danced on the concrete. natalia and maggie had decided to attempt and persuade deanna, get the woman to see a different side of what had happened. natalia believed it was a long shot, the leader of alexandria had her mind set. thought the grimes girl supposed it couldn't hurt and try to talk the woman out of having the meeting.

her hands were folded beneath her chin, her head tilted to the side, and small slow breaths leaving her lips. she glanced to maggie who was glaring daggers at gabriel who worked quietly a ways away, natalia gently nudged the woman. yet the rhee woman only shook her head at the girl, brushing her questioning look off. reluctantly natalia dropped it. "natalia, maggie, hey. she's outside on the porch." reggie told as he looked between the two girls, his hands stuffed into his jean pockets. natalia offered the man a small smile, following quietly behind maggie. the old wood that created the porch softly creaked at the two made their way to stand before deanna.

the short haired woman let out a sigh as she turned to face the two. her eyes dancing between them. "what would you two need to talk about?" the woman questioned, her hands tight around the clip board and pen she held. natalia licked her lips, glancing to maggie who began to speak. "the meeting tonight." the rhee woman began, she stuffed her hands into her pockets as she squinted at the woman, natalia shifted on her feet. "maggie, if we could talk about this-" reggie began, his gentle eyes looking to the brunette. yet deanna was the one to cut the man off, drowning his words out with her own. "i'm going to talk to everyone about what happened and what we need to do about it." deanna explained, she pursed her lips as she fell quiet. awaiting whatever the two had to say in response. natalia clicked her tongue, she tucked her hands into the pockets on the back of her pants, she lightly rocked on her heels. "you want to ask a bunch of scared people what the next play should be?" natalia rhetorically questioned, raising her brows slightly as she glanced to maggie before back to the woman before them.

it sounded rather idiotic to natalia. everyone within alexandria was fearful of her father. they'd witnessed him brutally assault a man, then hold a gun to them, they wouldn't want him in the walls. natalia knew that. maggie knew that. they all knew that. "if it has anything to do with sending rick away, it's not gonna happen." maggie told, shaking her head at the red haired woman. the grimes girl nodded in agreement, she was angry with her father to no belief, yet she wouldn't let them send her father away, they'd die before they got the chance. "you let rick in, you let all of us in. you talked to us. you decided." maggie told, her tone sharp as she spoke to the woman. the rhee woman nodded as she spoke.
