Next Saturday arrived quickly, and I was heading to the spa with the girls, taking Evie along. Jungkook walked into the room, and I wondered what he wanted.

"The designers will be here by 2 for your fitting."

"Okay. I'm going to the spa and salon," I informed him.

"Tasha's coming to do your hair later."

"I want to do some things to it and for Evie too."

"Here's my card. You can do whatever you want with it," he said, handing me his card. I snapped instantly.

"Why are you giving it to me? So you'd call me a thief or a beggar later?"

"Jeez, Park, I was just offering to help. But I guess I'd keep the card to myself," he said, putting it back in his pocket.

"Well, do just that, Jeon," I said angrily.

Why would he even give it to me? He probably wanted to set me up.

"I want you home by 1:30," he sternly ordered, giving me a don't-you-dare-come-back-late look.

"I'm coming home when I please, Jeon," I stubbornly replied, walking away.

"Don't make me stop you from going anywhere," he coldly said, grabbing my hand.

"What exactly is your problem, Jeon? One minute you're acting normal, and the next you're angry. I swear you're bipolar," I said, hitting a nerve.

"What did you say, Park?"

"I said you're bipolar, Jeon," I repeated daringly.

He opened his mouth to reply but stared at me for a long moment before walking away. "1:30, Park. Nothing later," he said at the door and left.

Once he was gone, I went to Evie's room to get her ready. She was still sleeping when I walked in. "Wake up, Evie," I said, tapping her lightly until she stirred.

"No, Momma, I still want to sleep," she whined, and I chuckled.

"But you're awake already," I stated.

"No, I'm not. My eyes are closed," she said, squeezing them shut and giggling.

"Okay, since you're still sleeping, I'll eat all your pancakes," I teased, pretending to leave the room.

"No, no! Not my pancakes!" she screamed, running after me.

"I thought you were still sleeping," I laughed, twirling her around.

"I'm awake now, Momma. Let’s go eat my pancakes."

"You need to freshen up first," I said. She whined a little, and I smiled, ruffling her hair. How much I loved her.

After freshening up, we went downstairs and found Jungkook in the kitchen, shirtless, flipping pancakes—a surprisingly sexy sight.

"Good morning," Evie greeted.

"Morning, Evie. How was your night?" Jungkook asked.

"Good. Yours?" she replied, and he gave the same answer.

It was nice to see them getting along. After eating, I did the dishes and got ready to leave.

"A driver is waiting for you outside. Don’t forget: 1:30," Jungkook reminded. I rolled my eyes, carrying Evie.

"Where are we going?" she asked.

"To the spa, mall, and salon," I listed, and she squealed.

"Do I get to play dress-up?" she asked, and I nodded, making her smile widely.

At the spa, I saw Mel and Tess. They pulled me into a hug, and I smiled—they were becoming friends.

"Oh my gosh, who's this cutie with you?" Mel squealed.

"This is Evie. Evie, this is Melissa and Tess, Y/N's sister," I introduced, and Tess stared at Evie for a moment.

"I didn’t know Y/N had a sister. She looks like Barbie," Evie said, smiling.

"Thanks, sweetie. You look like a princess," Tess replied, and Evie giggled.

"Gosh, I need a massage. Let’s get that first," Tess suggested.

We had massages, pedicures, and manicures—even Evie joined in. During the process, Tess noticed the birthmark on Evie's foot.

"Evie, what's that?" Tess exclaimed.

"Mommy says it's a birthmark," Evie answered.

"Oh. I have the same, and so does Jungkook," Tess said. Realizing what she'd said, she looked between Evie and me.

"Oh my gosh, Y/N," she whispered, connecting the dots. "How old are you, sweetie?"

"I'll be six in two months," Evie replied excitedly.

"Oh my..." Tess gasped, staring at me.

"Okay, what's happening?" Melissa asked.

"Nothing," Tess and I dismissed quickly.

I fixed and painted my nails a nude color while Evie painted hers. I added extensions to my hair and stretched it. We decided to stop by the mall, though Melissa left for something. I guessed Tess had pieced it together but chose not to comment. At the mall, I bought clothes—mostly for Evie—along with dolls and other items for her. We stopped by the ball pit, where Evie played while I watched.

"Evie is your daughter," Tess stated. "And she's Jungkook's, right?"

"What makes you say that?" I asked, neither confirming nor denying.

"She looks so much like you, with Jungkook’s chestnut-brown hair, eyes, and nose. The birthmark confirmed it."

I was stunned by how fast she'd figured it out. Could Jungkook possibly know?

"Does he know she's his?" she pressed.

"No. He probably thinks she's my sister," I replied.

"Wow," she said softly. "I never knew I had a niece, and Jungkook doesn’t know he has a daughter."

"He doesn’t, and I'd like to keep it that way."

"When are you going to tell him?" she asked.

"I don’t know," I admitted honestly. I hadn’t thought much about it.

"He’s going to be furious when he finds out. I can’t believe you kept her from him," she accused.

"Well, it happened," I snapped. "He doesn’t need to know until I decide."

"Calm down, Y/N. I wasn’t going to tell him—it’s not my place," she assured me, and I nodded.

"Can I see her often? Spend time with her, please?" Tess pleaded, and I nodded.

"Thanks! I can’t believe I’m an aunt already. This is amazing," she beamed.

I called Evie, and we prepared to leave. "Does Evie know?"

"No. No one knows anything, Tess," I replied tiredly.

"This is unbelievable," she said, grinning.

"Okay, that’s enough excitement now. Keep it in," I joked.

We stopped at the food court before heading home. When I arrived, it was nearly three. I arranged Evie's clothes and toys, waited for her to fall asleep, then went to my room—and found Jungkook waiting.
