Marjorie's POV

I'm walking round to Charlotte's house with the twins it's a lovely sunny day as I leave our road I turn and look back at our house I could of swore I saw Mia and Vicky running towards the driveway I shake my head I was seeing things, I stop off at the local bakery and I pick up a box of doughnuts for my 2 god daughters to enjoy later and for me and Char I get us a chocolate cheesecake. I check on the twins they are sound asleep, they are due their next feed in about an hour, I'm leisurely strolling towards Charlotte's road when I notice the familiar of my mother standing in front of me, I look at her and go to walk past "Marji" she calls out, I stop and look at her

"Are these my grandchildren? Aw they are beautiful" she goes to reach into the buggy I pull it away from her reach "Don't you touch my children, they are not your grandchildren, you are nothing to them, they don't have any grandparents, me and Reece will be telling them they are all dead"

She looked me up and down "See you still have your baby weight; you need to lose it" she scoffed.

I stand in front of her I look her up and down "You know you have always made comments about my body and my appearance, and I know why, you have always been jealous of me, you saw me as competition, even as a 10-year-old child is that why you dismissed me when I told you about the abuse? I have a husband who loves me for being me, he loves the family we have built together, we have 4 beautiful children that you will never ever see. I will never see my daughters as competition the way you see me; I will love and support them. Now if you don't mind, I'm going to visit my friend, and I will see you in court when I testify against your husband" I walk away as fast as I can, I get to Charlotte's house I can hear her in the back garden with Harry and the girls I walk round and both girls see me first "AUNTY MARJI" they both shout

"Hello, my lovelies how are my 2 favourite god daughters today?"

"We are good, we are so happy you see you and the twins though" they replied

I knelt and hugged them both I looked up at Charlotte she could tell something was wrong "Girls why don't you go inside and watch tv for 30 minutes, we will come and get you when Harry, Kate and Jack are awake okay"

"Okay mum" they replied

As they went inside and shut the door behind them, I burst into tears Charlotte threw her arms around me "Oh Marjorie what's wrong?" she asked

I hugged her tightly then replied "As I was walking here, I saw my mother she came over a spoke to me, she tried to hold the twin's hands, then she body shamed me, for still having baby weigh" I cried into her shoulder

"Oh, Marjorie that's awful"

I hugged her until I couldn't cry anymore the twins started to wake up as it was almost time for their feed, I picked Kate up first and got her to latch on, I sat down on the chair, and she started to feed, Charlotte had gone to check on the girls and ask if they wanted to help feed Harry and Jack, they followed her out and sat down Sofia took hold of Harry and started to feed him he grabbed hold of the bottle settled in his sisters arms, Libby sat next to me, and Charlotte passed her Jack he settled into Libby's arms and she started to feed him, like Harry he grabbed onto the bottle. "Two hungry boys" Charlotte commented "Little miss here is just as hungry as her brother "I replied

"How is my niece getting on with feeding from a bottle?" she asked

"I'm still struggling, she really doesn't like feeding from the bottle, but I'm persevering, she prefers the boob but I'm back at work in a few months, I want her to be on bottles during the day, then I will breastfeed at home"
