Reece's POV

What a weekend, I now have 2 amazing sisters in law who are away in the sunshine for a few days, we are looking after our nephew Jamie, we have decided to skip preschool today and have a day of fun and bonding.

I was woken by Marjorie creeping out of bed to go to the bathroom, as she walked back into our room, I pulled her onto the bed "good morning gorgeous"

"Good morning" she replied

"I didn't mean to wake you" she added

"You didn't wake me up.... but now I am awake, come here" I pulled her in for a kiss, she straddled my lap, I put my hands on her waist then moved them up her back, then I pulled her top off, but before we could go any further there was a knock at the door and a little voice called out "Uncle Reece I'm hungry" it was Jamie

"Okay buddy me and aunty Marji will be with you now" I replied

"Sorry babe," said Marjorie

"Tonight" I replied smiling and kissing her again

I went to the bedroom door and Jamie was still standing there "hey buddy what's up?" I asked him

"I couldn't sleep, are my mum's coming back?" he asked

"Yes of course they are, they have gone away for a few days because they got married, they are back Friday afternoon, shall we go and make breakfast for everyone? Aunty Mia will be here soon; to take Stevie to Liverpool, we can have some fun with her?"

He nodded and put his hands up, I picked him up and we went downstairs to the kitchen, Carly and Eric were already up and heading out as they were both on the early shift today.

"Hey dad," said Carly

"Hey Carls, shouldn't you both be leaving now?"

"Er yeah, we overslept" she replied blushing

I smiled and nodded "Can you let Winter know that Jamie won't be in preschool today, I'm going to keep him off, today. Spoil him a bit"

"Yeah, sure no problem "She replied then kissed me on the cheek then left with Eric

I started to mix the batter for the pancakes once that was ready, I poured a glass of fresh orange juice for Jamie, and I made a pot of coffee, Mia walked through carrying Harry "Good morning Reecey, good morning, Jamie" she said as she pulled one of the twins highchairs over and put Harry in it.

"What's for breakfast?" She asked

"Pancakes" Jamie replied

"OOO, I love Reecey's pancakes" she replied

Jamie looked at her then at Harry, he smiled "You can both stay for breakfast, that okay isn't it Uncle Reece?"

"Of course, buddy" I replied

I finished making the pancakes and placed them in front of Jamie, he helped himself, Mia cut one up into small pieces and gave it to Harry, then she poured herself a coffee.

I pulled her to one side "Can you do me a favor while you are travelling to Liverpool?"

"Yeah sure?"

I looked over at Jamie, I get the impression that Viv's ex was abusive towards both her and Jamie, I know she has never spoken about things, I think she was jailed for it, can you find out what happened?"

"I do know a little bit about what happened, Viv told me one evening when I was waiting for Char when she finished work, and Viv was collecting Jamie, but I will try and find out more, as I'm convinced Viv is worried that her ex will come looking for them"
