Chapter Thirty-Five

Marjorie's POV

I'm sitting in my car waiting for Stevie and Carly, my two older girls, I hook my phone to my Bluetooth and put on one of my playlists starting off with "I predict a riot" by The Kaiser Chiefs.

Stevie and Carly walk over to the car and Steve gets in the back and Carly in the front she goes to change the playlist "Don't you dare, once you pass your test and driving your car you can choose the music"

"Oh mum"

I started the car, and we headed off to town, we got to the car park, I found a space and we headed off to the shops.

Once we got there Carly dragged us into Primark, she picked up a basket and started filing it up.

"Is she always like this?" asked Stevie

"Yes, if it's one thing that Carly loves is shopping, I think Reece and I made the mistake of giving her a walk-in wardrobe" I laughed

We finished shopping in Primark then she dragged us to Sports Direct for trainers and socks, we walked past Victoria Secret "Let's go in here?" I said

"What for?" Asked Carly

I started laughing "I want to get some underwear for your dad to enjoy me in" I replied

"Ew mum really" Carly replied

"What? how do you think I got pregnant"

"I really don't want to think about it" she replied

We went in and I found a few underwear sets. When we finished, we decided to go and get some lunch, this I knew could be a bit of a problem for Carly, as she isn't comfortable eating in public with someone she doesn't really know.

"Hey Carly, where is good to eat around here?" asked Stevie

"The Italian Restaurant is nice" she replied

"Great I love Italian" Replied Stevie

Carly walked on ahead looking at her phone, I looked at Stevie

"Reece told me about him and Carly having eating disorders, and that she is comfortable eating at home, but not when she is out and more so with someone she doesn't really know, my best friend died after she starved herself to death, but when she was eating it was always best if she chose where to eat, so I know Carly would be the same"

I smiled at Stevie, "You are a brilliant big sister"

"I didn't have any siblings growing up, but now I do, and I want to look after them"

"Will you too hurry up" Carly shouted

"Okay hold your horses" I shouted back

We got to the restaurant and were seated, I sat and looked at my 2 girls, then I realized that I hadn't been through the teenage years with Stevie or Carly, but I will be with Kate, I smiled at the thought.

"What are you thinking about mama?" asked Carly

"What? Oh, I realized that I haven't been through teenage years with you two girls, but I will Kate, it should be a lot of fun.... especially Reece" I replied

We enjoyed our meal, and Carly ate the majority of her's we finished shopping then headed home.

As we got in, we could hear Reece and Eric chatting in the kitchen, so we walked through, there was no sign of the twins

"Where is Kate and Jack?"

"They are having their afternoon nap?"

"Really?"
