Five Years later Part one

Marjorie's POV

I'm woken up by my three terrors, Kate, Jack and Ana, they were standing on my side of the bed "Mama wake up" Whispered Kate

I stayed still and pretended to be asleep "Mama" I heard Jack say, I kept my eyes closed then I felt my youngest daughter Ana kiss the tip of my nose I opened my eyes.

"And what do you three want? It's Saturday morning, you should all still be asleep in bed it's 7am"

"We can't sleep; we are excited" replied Kate

"Why are you excited?" I asked

"Carly and Eric will be here with their baby" replied Ana

"Oh of course it would be Carly and Eric visiting that you're excited about.... not spending the day with your mama eh.... I will remember that" I joked

Jack climbed up on to my bed and cuddled me "Of course we want to spend the day with you, mama, we love you... but Carly and the baby only came home yesterday" he replied

I smiled "well you better wake daddy up then hadn't you"

I lifted all three on to the bed "Go get him kids"

They all jumped on Reece and demanded he gets up and makes pancakes, he hides under the duvet as they all jump on him, he grabs Ana and starts to tickle her "Daddy, stop please" she says laughing, he stops then says, "Who told you to jump all over me?"

"Mama" replied Kate

"Well thank you for snitching on me" I replied

Reece goes to get out of bed, then remembers he is naked "Babe, can you pass me, my Pj bottoms?" he asks I laughed and passed them to him, "Kids come on, let daddy get up, you all need to get your slippers on anyway.

We walk across the landing Jack goes into his room and gets his slippers and dressing gown on, then Kate and Ana go to their room and do the same, I look up towards the loft and I see Stevie walking down followed by her wife Sara. "Good morning mum, I see the three terrors have woken you up as well" she laughed

"Yeah, they are excited for Carly and Eric visiting later, I got them to wake Reece up, he will be starting breakfast soon"

"Oh great" replied Sara

We all headed downstairs; I started to make a fresh pot of coffee, once I had made it, I sat outside by the pool, it was already hot so today the kids can play outside and, in the pool, I start to think about the last five years, I remembered the weekend Reece and I renewed our vows, as we had gotten married before I gave birth to Kate and Jack, and we only had Vicky, Laura and Carly with us, then Reece tried to arrange a surprise wedding but my stepfathers trial being brought forward made us change our plans, eventually we had our weekend, and on our wedding night I asked Reece if he would want to try for another baby. He agreed and 9 months later we had Ana she has Reece's blonde hair and blue eyes... with Autumn's attitude, we are happy that our 3 younger children are growing up together. "Penny for your thoughts" Reece said as he walked outside

"Good morning again.... where are the kids?" I asked, as I expected them to be climbing all over him as they always did in the morning

"They are asleep on the couch with Stevie and Sara" he replied

"Hmm I'm not surprised as they have been awake early, they are excited that Carly and Eric are visiting with baby Corey" I replied

"Yeah, that sounds about right, they are more excited about Carly visiting" he replied
