(Wow Shock) Strykers POV
She sauntered into our room dressed in tight black jeans that were missing holes down the sides, a flouncy red blouse with baggy sleeves that were tight at her wrists making them look small. Her brown hair pulled back in a tight high pony tail.
Swing jazz played from the speakers, she began to step around the room swaying her hips gently as she placed long dangling gold earrings in her ear. I lay on the bed my one arm across my stomach as I watched her spin around in her heels. I smiled as I watched her, She spun around and looked down at me her smile slipped away and she frowned at me.
“What?” I asked her.
“I’m taking you out” she said placing her hands on her hips.
I scowled and sat up swinging my legs over the edge of the bed, “Why, I thought I had to do that physical thing?”
“Nope, Helios said we had to go out, and I want to show you something. It has to do with where I grew up. Thought you’d be interested” she said turning away from me.
I laughed standing up and moving with a burst of speed across the room towards her, I wrapped my arms around her waist resting my hands on her stomach and stopping her. Now that she had explained more to me, that she had stopped lying to me. I finally understood what was happening to myself. I understood a little more why she had acted the way she had towards me in the beginning.
“Mhm, couldn’t we just stay in and I could get to know you a lot better” I whispered against the side of her neck.
She shivered and leaned back against my chest, “Stryker, Play nice” she growled.
I kissed her pulse and she moaned softly her hands touching mine, “I am playing nice” I murmured pouting my lips.
She laughed and pushed my face back as she stepped away from me, I grabbed her hand and spun her back around to face me.
“What’s wrong” I asked her.
“Even after finding out about Jassey, and knowing this is all my fault. You would still touch me…”
“Oh Red, I don’t blame you for what happened to her. I blame Hunter. Jassey was just trying to protect you and get you out of the danger zone”
“Yeah and look where that got her. Hunter killed her because she was going to hand me over to you”
I grit my teeth and stepped forward grabbing her face and forcing her to look at me, “It was not your fault Red. She was trying to help us both, She wanted to get you out of that situation.”
“I shouldn’t have told her, about you or anything. She was just there to keep an eye on me, that was it” She was talking to herself now.
“Red” I moaned rolling my eyes, I wrapped my arms around her shoulders and held her. “You need to take a deep breath and listen. You’re mine, Hunter wont get you. Helios wont take you away, and neither man is going to kill me.”
She nodded her head slowly wrapped her arms around me the best she could. My poor little Red Wulf, It hurt that Jassey was using me to get Red into my life. To save her from being the slave to Hunter, I didn’t like being used and lied to like that. But it explained everything, most of all it explained Red.
“Your taking me where?” I asked for the second time.
“Its called the Under-World. It’s a club, dance club. Thus the clothes” She said glancing over at me.
