(Y/n)'s POV

I woke to sunlight peeking through the curtains and instinctively rubbed my eyes with the back of my hand. I wonder what time it is.

Fuck.

I sat up quickly as the memory of Kylian sleeping beside me last night flashed through my mind and my shyness began to take over. "Please don't be awake, please don't be awake." Silently, the hope ran through my mind. I turned to my left, expecting to see him but he wasn't there. The left side of the bed is empty. My phone lit up as I tapped the screen to check the time. It's seven in the morning. Well, he's definitely an early bird.

Speaking of my early bird, I always found myself obsessed with the way his scent lingered whenever he left. That musky cologne that I loved so much. I gave myself a moment to fully wake up before heading to freshen up.

After freshening up, I made my way to the living room in case he was there.

"You're up early," A voice came out of nowhere and it wasn't Kylian's. It belonged to none other than Pierre himself.

"Good morning Pierre, do you know where Kylian is?" I asked. Pierre always knew where he was.

Pierre finished dusting off the corner of the room with his dusting brush before turning to look at me, "Monsieur Mbappé went out to take care of something. He had planned to make you breakfast, but an emergency occurred. Regardless, I'm here to assist with whatever you need."

"Well, I need you to tell me where he is." Just hearing about the emergency made me curious, I need to know where Kylian is, and if he's alright.

"There are far more important matters for others than spending the entire morning asleep in bed," Pierre side-eyed me.

"So, what are these important matters you speak of? The ones Kylian apparently had to take care of?" I mimicked his exact tone, emphasizing each word with his thick French accent, because he's making no sense right now, and it's starting to annoy me.

Thinking he can act shady toward me for no reason.

He put down his dusting brush, "I'm not entirely sure."

"You're lying," I didn't believe him. And I couldn't message Kylian about it either, because if it's something important, and he hasn't told me, he definitely won't tell me if I ask.

"Accusing others of lying is hardly polite, is it?"

I rolled my eyes, this old man is going to drive me crazy. Of course, he wouldn't tell me where Kylian is. He's so loyal to him. I was about to snap at Pierre when my phone suddenly dinged.

A message from Kylian.

My heart dropped when I saw what he had sent me— a photo of me sleeping this morning. Okay, I couldn't be mad at him. I surprisingly looked cute. For a moment, I noticed the small details in the picture, like how my right arm was awkwardly positioned under my head. Now I understand why I always wake up sore. Then I sent Kylian a heart emoji and locked my phone.
