TAHIMIK lang si Apollo habang nasa daan sila pauwi. Si Selene naman ay halos mabali na ang leeg sa pagsilip sa bintana. Magmula kasi ng sumakay sila sa loob ng karwahe kanina ay ramdam niyang nakatitig lang ito sa kaniya na tila ba pinag-aaralan siya.

Ito ang naging tugon niya sa mga tanong ni Apollo kanina. Magmula naman no’n ay hindi na ito umimik pa.

Natigilan naman ito at biglang naging seryoso ang ekspresyon ng mukha.

“My real name is Lilian Ledger. I know that you’re already suspecting how I learned to wield a sword and now a gun.” She put her right hand on her chest as she looked at him with confidence. “This is something that I shouldn’t be proud of, but I’m an assassin of a mafia family in my world. To make it worse, the family head of that mafia clan is the one who also killed my parents.”

“Mafia?”

“Yes. It is a secret criminal organization that engages in illegal activities,” she explained.
