It's my second day of school... why did I move schools during the Christmas season that was so stupid of me! I frowned as I put on my shoes. I grabbed my bag and left the house locking the door behind me. I saw that brunette coming out of his house to. I walked down the side walk where I stopped at the cross road. Then the brown hair boy came walking cross the street stopping next to me.
"Hi um I'm Gabe Brunai nice you meet you... lui was it?" he said, holding out his covered hand to me.
I stayed quiet as I rolled my eyes and we crossed the street. We made our way to school and went to our class. I sat down and everyone moved there desk away from me. Wow, that's a new record! At my last school the kids didn't move till a week!... well all but one moved the Gabe kid.
"Why'd everyone move?" He said looking genuinely confused
"Because of him Gabe, we suggested you do the same" the teacher said.
"No thanks, I'm ok being right here"
"Suit, yourself... anyway we're gonna do secret Santa this year! You guys are all gonna draw from a hat and you'll get someone that's in this class and you have to buy or make a gift for them and you have to bring the present before friday the last day before break oh! And you can just come and give it to me I'll place them under the tree! And the limit is twenty five dollars!" She said.
"Um ma'am there's an even amount of students right now with Lui what if someone gets him and he gets someone?"
"Well that one I'll just give something to the one Lui gets and the person who gets Lui can give their present to a friend outside of the class if they want if lui doesn't want it" The teacher explained.
I rolled my eyes.
One by one everyone pulled a name out of the hat. Then it came to me. I refused but she made me. I put my hand in the hat and pulled a folded piece of paper out and read it in my mind.
... it's fucking Gabe.
"I can't wait!" Someone exclaimed.
"Yes!"
I fucking can't for on Friday I know all those girls and boys will wake bright and early and race for their toys.
I can see it all now... just how it will be.
In they come tripping on their little feet! Dear little girls and boys ready to rip through a mountain of toys!
Isn't it precious? or so it should seem... Why do I have the distinction to scream?!
"I've gotta watchama watchamawho! You've got a watchama? Me too! Look it's a thing-a-bob-thing" The class song together while looking excitingly at each other.
"Let's all play with the watchamathing!"
It's annoying...
so annoying! I rolled my eyes they're so spoiled!
It's destroying my sense of myself and my eardrums distressing...
So distressing! I put my hands on my ears.
I'm confessing the sight of kids messing with toys leaves me cold
"Bang bang bang bang!" They yelled playing with toys.
If I may be so bold!
"I've gotta watchama watchamawho! You've got a watchama? Me too! ... we've got a thingabob-let's play!"
They'll be noisy with the toysys girls and boys seem to be devoting themselves to the mayhem and chaos!
It was like that the. Whole. Day! Like shut up!
I was walking home and Gabe was trying to catch up with me... god damn it he's relentless.
"Hey lui! I realize we are also in some of the same classes like music and-"
Omfg he wouldn't go away.
"Oh my god can you walk on the other side of the street or shut up?!"
"... Make me"
"If you weren't one of my classmates TRUST me I would" I said pinching the bridge of my nose.
"But anyways I-"
"Why don't you leave me alone? God you're so odd everyone else fears me but you!"
"Cuz why would I? You're cute..."
I turned red stood there and ran away. I ran all the way home.
