I feel like since we all (or most of us) agree and have a head cannon that Lui had a bad childhood, I feel like he'd cry if he gets any gifts for anything, his birthday, Christmas, Valentine's Day, he just gets emotional knowing someone cares and thought about him.
I give Lui his present for Valentine's Day. It was a big bouquet of roses, a big blue teddy bear, and a little gift bag.
"I know it's not much but I wanted something to show my love and appreciation for you, my love"
"Are you kidding?! This is so nice and sweet of you!" He said while crying.
"W-why are you crying?! Are you ok?!"
"I am! T-these are h-happy tears!"
"You haven't even opened it yet!"
"I don't care! You care about me enough to get me a present!"
"Well I would hope so! I'm your boyfriend and it's Valentine's Day!" I said.
He cried harder and hugged me. He opened the bag and found a ring box and opened it to find a ring.
"It's a promise ring... I wanted to give you something to remind you of my love and how much I love you so whenever you feel like you're not good enough or you just had a bad day to remember that I promised I'll always love you through all those hardships" I said.
"Oh you're so sweet and cute, I love it!" He said crying more.
I pulled him into a hug.
"Now your gift!" He said, wiping his tears.
He gave me a box with a top/lid. I opened it and found a photo album and a little box. I picked up the photo album first.
"These are most of the pictures we took over the year, I printed them out and laminated them and I wrote notes next to them about that day and how I loved it and loved being with you" he said.
I pulled him into a kiss.
"You're sooo cute" I said kissing his cheek.
"Ok ok open the other ooone!" He said.
I picked up the little box and opened it and saw a ring.
"Hehe I got you a promise ring too! I just wanted to give you something to remind you that even if I seem mad at you or annoyed at you I still love you and 9/10 times it's not even you who's making me mad and of course I promise to love you"
I slipped it on my ring and cupped his face and kissed him. fuck I love my boyfriend, he's the cutest, sweetest, prettiest, boy I've ever met and I love him sooo much.
