Just as Siobhan sat there mentally preparing herself for another day at work, her mind began to race with a memory she fought so hard to forget about. She was applying the last of makeup. As much as she didn't want to put any effort into the wedding , she couldn't let everyone see the black eye that was a little gift from her future. Roger came up behind her and grabbed her arm. "Hurry up," he told her harshly before leaving again.

Soon, a different voice came behind her, making her jump and snapping her from her thoughts. "Bonbon, you nearly ready to leave?" Vivian asked softly as she watched her getting ready.

"Im nearly ready, viv. i just need to finish my makeup." She mumbled back as she took a deep breath. "Bon, is everything okay? You seem jumpy today." Viv asked her outright as she moved closer. Siobhan sighed and turned around to face the dark-haired woman. "A month ago, i was meant to get married to him." She mumbled before turning back around.

"I can take the day off to be with you, darling." Vivian spoke quietly as she watched her partner closely. "Viv, we both need to be at work. As much as I would love to stay with you today, I can't. I need to be in the office." Siobhan told her as she continued with her eyeshadow. "You can argue with me all you want, but today you are staying with me. Dont worry, i will call work for you, so dont have to talk to anyone." Vivian told her sternly before walking out the room.

Siobhan moved and stood herself by the door as she tried to listen to Viv on the phone, nerves eating her up as she knew how protective she could get and Siobhan didn't want her to rile up the wrong person.

"No, Marjorie, you dont understand because Siobhan serpent is very serious to me yes she’s the one I love, but it’s more than that. She can’t just come back to work and act like it's all okay every day because he runs the nursery, and he still has power. she needs to take time for herself, and now that she has a support system that she can finally call friends, it's a bit easier for her. Also, I have been through something similar, so I understand shibs more, and maybe that helps her to open up more, but today just really isn't a day for her to be at the nursery. It all happened two months ago today." Vivian spoke to Marjorie, getting slightly protective.

"Fine, but i need her back in tomorrow.  I will give her today, but then she needs to be back in the office, we do really need her help." Marjorie told her before ending the call. Vivian walked back to find Siobhan. "Bon bon, we have the day together, so make the most of it." Vivian told her proudly.

Siobhan sighed before I her way over to Vivian and quietly wrapped her arms around her. The blonde said nothing as she hid her head into her chest. The longer they stood there, the more Vivian noticed that Siobhan breathing had changed. "Bonbon, you are safe, ots okay." She hushed as the shorter women began to shake slightly in her arms."It's okay, I've got you." Vivian spoke calmly as she held Siobhan close to her chest. It wasn't long till she felt her shirt become damp.

"Darling, im going to sit us on the bed, and then we can have cuddles." She whispered before moving back slowly, moving Siobhan with her. "Sit down, bons." Vivian whispered as she watched Siobhan closely. The blonde kept her head down and sighed to herself.

"There we go, sweetheart. Im just going to wipe your tears, and then we can talk when you are ready." Vivian was careful not to make any sudden movements. She had learnt to explain herself before doing anything when Siobhan was struggling so as not to make it worse.

Siobhan soon calmed down and fell back into Vivian's arms. "Oh bon bon shall we go downstairs and watch a movie with a balnket and before you ask of course i will give you cuddles." The couple made their way downstairs.

Vivian sat on the couch first so that Siobhan could get comfortable in her arms. Siobhan sat herself as close to Vivian as possible before pulling the green blanket over them both.

Instinctively, viv wrapped her arms around Siobhan and held her closer to her. "You can puck the movie, sweet." Vivian whispered as she watched Siobhan closely. As always, Siobhan chose to watch the notebook. It was her comfort, and Vivian knew that.

"I know you didn't sleep that much last night, so if you want to have a little sleep, i will be here when you wake up." Vivian hushed while gently playing with her hair.

Siobhan settled quickly in Vivian's arms. Her eyes finally fluttered shut. "I love you bons, and i promise to always protect you no matter what. It's okay. You are safe now." She mumbled before kissing the top of her head. "Hmm," Siobhan mumbled in her sleep, making Vivian smile at her, nothing but love in her eyes.

Siobhan didn't sleep for long and soon stired awake. As promised, Vivian didn't let go of her partner. "Hi," the blonde mumbled as she moved slightly. "Hey bons." Vivian spoke quietly as she waited for Siobhan to come round fully before talking to her.

"You have a message from Mia, i checked it to make sure it wasn't her being horrible, but she messaged to make sure you were okay and asked if you needed anything." Siobhan smiled slightly. "You are Char are the same people you both saved us from him, and you are both making us into nicer people." She whispered with a smile on her face. "I will message her later on, im happy with you, and i don't want to move." The couple spent the rest of the day snuggled up on the couch together. Siobhan finally understood that she was free and she was loved again.
