"Charlotte, im sorry, but we need to get there, and right now, im not about to do the long diversion.  I know this is harsh on you, but i need to get to her. I haven't got the time to go around the lanes this time." Mia told Charlotte. She felt guilty, but right now, she was in a rush.

Charlotte nodded and placed her hand on Mias thigh to help ground herself. "When we get closer, close your eyes, baby, okay, it's okay. I will get past it quickly, okay? How about you put our favourite song on and we can sing along to it." Mia offered, but Charlotte shook her head. The road they were driving on was traumatising for Charlotte. So many many memories were made there, ones she wished to forget. Mia was the only person who she ever told the story to. "Right, sweetheart, shut your eyes now, okay? We will be the other side really soon." Mia whispered calmly before grabbing the hand that was on her thigh. "Im here, baby. I just need to get to Autumn." Mia sped up a bit not only for Charlottes' sake but also for Autumns. It had been ages since she had a phone call from her, so she knew it was important.

"Char, sweetheart, you can open them when you are ready. Im so proud of you, sweetheart." Mia told her softly. She knew she was a people pleaser and always tried to keep everyone happy even if it made life harder for herself. "That was the first time since it happened." Charlotte whispered nervously as she looked over at her. "I know, and we have done it together. I know the memories are still there, but you made it, baby. That's one challenge done, now to deal with Autumn."

It wasn't long till Mia pulled into the carpark that Autumn wanted them to meet at. She parked up next to Autumns red jaguar. "Sweetheart, let me see to her, then you can come and see her. You know her and emotions dont go, and i dont want to overwhelm her, and she freaks out on us." Charlotte nodded as she watched Mia get out of her car and walk closer to Autumn. She watched how the younger woman fell into Mias embrace. Charlotte  knew Autumn, and she knew she must really be hurting to fall apart like that.

While Charlotte was sitting in the car, she could hear autumn sobbing. She watched them both closely. It was at that moment she spotted Mia was now also getting emotional. Charlotte sighed before getting out of the car. "Guys, come here, you two." Charlotte spoke calmly as she slowly opened her arms. "Char, it's okay." Mia told her softly, but the closer Charlotte got, the more Autumn hung onto Mia. "Char sweetheart, i know you want to help, i know, and we appreciate it so much, but if you give us a couple more minutes, we will sit in the car with you, i promise." Mia told her softly before kissing the top of her head before taking her attention back to Autumn.

Once Charlotte was back in the car, Autumn looked at Mia. "I need my big sister,  please. Im carrying a baby. This is the future we spoke about. i need you in it. im scared im losing you. At least before you would be in and out the office to annoy Marjorie," Autumn told her honestly, breaking down her walls she kept up. "I need my sister with me. Please, mia, she needs her auntie Mimi." Autumn whispered quietly before clinging onto Mia tightly and bursting into tears.

"Okay, Auts deep breaths for me. Let's get you sat in my car with Char, and we can work something out.  Shh, it's okay." Mia whispered calmly before gently guiding her to the car. "Dont ask, but come can sit with us in the back." Mia mouthed to Charlotte. She nodded. Soon, all three women were sat un the back of Mias Mustang, Autumn in the middle.

"Autumn,  we will get you through this." Charlotte whispered nervously. She had never seen Autumn in this state before. "Thanks, Char." She mumbled before letting her head fall onto Mias shoulder. "Do you want to come back with us, and i can do your hair?" Mia asked, but Autumn just shrugged. The red head wrapped her arms around Autumn, reaching one hand out to Charlotte. "How about you stay back here with Charlotte, and i will drive you back to ours." Autumn just nodded slightly before fiddling with her sleeve. "Auts, i can hug you if you want." Charlotte spoke calmly as she watched Autumn.

It wasn't long till they were all back at Mias house. Charlotte had made everyone a drink before walking back into the living room. "Do you want me to give you guys some space?" Charlotte asked quietly as she watched Mia gently rocking both her and Autumn. "You can stay. It's okay." The younger woman chocked out. The red head patted the spot next to her for Charlotte to sit down. As she did, Autumn reached one of her hands to Charlotte, who immediately held it.

"Charlotte,  im sorry about all this. You know mia was my sister growing up, and now I'm pregnant again, i just really wanted to be around Mia. Like just popping into the office was enough." Autumn whispered as Mia carefully untied her hair, scratching her scalp. "Oh Auts, i will drag her in with me from now on. dont worry about that. let's make her work in the office at least one day a week." Charlotte spoke while rubbing Autumns knuckle.

"She's exhausted herself now." Mia mumbled as she noticed Autumn had dosed off. "Char, im going to be an auntie." Mia whispered as she moved slightly to make sleeping more comfortable for Autumn. "We will all be okay. We've got her." Charlotte whispered as she kissed mias cheek softly.
