"Viv, will you calm down? In a minute, you are going to snap, and that won't help the situation for either of you." Siobhan spoke calmly as she placed her hand on the raven haired womans back. "Just let him wake up a bit before you start shouting at him again. I know you are stressed, but we all forget that at the end of the day, he is only four." Siobhan whispered as she watched Jamie sat with his breakfast sniffling. "I know, but i pay for him to go, i need to go to work. I can't just take a day off Siobhan. It doesn't work like that. I need the money, Siobhan. i know that's not a problem for you, but for some of us, it's stressful." Viv spoke harshly, but the blonde just let it be. "Fine, go and get ready, and i will speak to Jamie before you upset anyone else. While you are gone, fix the attitude." Siobhan told her playfully before walking to find Jamie.
"Hey, little man, what's wrong?" Siobhan asked quietly as she wiped the tears from his cheeks. "I not want to go. I want to stay here." He sobbed as Siobhan picked him up and held him on her hip. "Jamie, can you take some big breaths like me?" She asked as she modelled the deep breaths. Jamie copied a couple of times before wrapping his arms tightly around Siobhan. "Today is my day off, so if mummy says it's okay, you can stay with me just for today. But you need to be kind to mummy because she is feeling a little sad." Siobhan explained, the little boy nodding along to her words.
Minutes later, Vivian walked into the kitchen. Siobhan placed Jamie on the floor, and he ran over to his mum. "I sorry." He whispered softly as he hugged her leg tightly. "Bonnie said i could stay with her today and go to nursery tomorrow."
"You know what... yeah, okay, baby. You make sure Bonbon doesn't get into any trouble mind." Vivian spoke. She went to snap, but Siobhan quickly gave her a stern look. "Jamie, you go and play, and i will be in with you soon, okay?" Siobhan told him as Viv let him go. "And what has this taught him. That his bad behaviour gets what he wants. His tantrum got him a day at home with you." Viv snapped at Siobhan. The blonde was shocked by Vivian's response but didn't let it show. Come on, she has been masking how she felt for years a couple more times wouldn't hurt. "Vivian, you better go before you end up being late," Siobhan told her as she pointed at the clock on the wall. The dark-haired woman walked out without saying another word. Siobhan sighed before making a start on washing up the plates from breakfast.
"Bonnie," a little voice broke Siobhan from her thoughts. "Can we make Christmas cards for Charlotte and Winter and Marjorie and Autumn and Sorscha and carly and maybe Mia because she is kind to Charlotte?" He asked excitedly. Siobhan couldn't help but smile at the little boy. "Oh darling, of course, we can make cards for everyone. How about you go and find your craft stuff, and i will get us some snacks."
The little boy rushed off as quickly as his legs would allow him to. He adored Siobhan and how no matter what, she seemed to have time to play with him.

The day went by quickly, and before they knew it, they heard a key turn in the door. "Bon bon im home," Vivian called as she walked through the front door. Whilst she was taking off her shoes, she felt a small pair of arms wrap around her. "Hey you." She whispered before gently picking him up. He wrapped his arms, her neck. "Me and Bonnie made cookies and cards for nursery tomorrow. I used my new stickers and pens to make pictures, and bonnie helped me spell everyones names, and the cookies have chocolate chips in them, " Jamie told his mum excitedly. "Aww, well done, darling. We can give them out before we find Charlotte in the morning." Viv suggested making the young boy smile widely.
Siobhan stood in the doorway of the living room, watching her family. The family that she never thought she would be a part of. Vivian's eyes soon met the blondes. "Hey Bonbon, it sounds like you have been busy today with cards and baking." Viv teased her slightly, being in a much better mood. Siobhan was slightly unsure of Vivian and how she would react with everything. "Did Jamie not tell you about the hot chocolate we made." Siobhan replied with a slight chuckle. "Bonnie, let me add the marshmallows on top, i had this many." The young boy held up all ten fingers with an excited glimpse in his eyes. "And, and, and mummy Bonnie had this many as well." He squealed before running into the living room excitedly.
"Viv, im so sorry, you know. If i have done the wrong thing." Siobhan whispered the second Vivian was close enough to hear her. "He has clearly had an amazing day with you." The dark-haired woman reassured her softly. "And on the bright side, now i dont have to worry about cards for everyone, and he will be excited about going into nursery tomorrow. " she joked while wrapping her arms around Siobhan. The blonde relaxed as she stood close to Vivian.
"Come and sit in the living room with me. I've missed you while I've been at work." Vivian spoke calmly as she pulled Siobhan along behind her. Jamie looked up from his picture as the two women walked in and sat down next to each other. He watched as his mummy placed a gentle kiss on Siobhans cheek. "Do it again!" He squealed as his watched the two women. Vivian peppered the blondes face with kisses. "Bonnie, do it." He giggled. Siobhan looked slightly unsure to start with, but the second they twi woman made eye contact, all the uncertainty melted away.
Jamie watched with a smile on his face before going back to his picture again. Siobhan sighed as she lent closer to Vivian. "Thank you for not hating me." She mumbled nervously. "I could never hate you now. Calm down and relax. He had an amazing day with you." She whispered while holding onto her partner.
