Quinn - AFK & MK & SS & CD

Clodagh had just picked up Quinn after her settling session and, as promised, brought her to the office after to see Marjorie and secretly Autumn. She would never admit it, but she was happy to see her God daughter.

"I dont know where you guys find these parents too, but they all seem to love their own opinions." Clodagh joked as she entered the office, not spotting Siobhan sat on the couch. "Do we even want to know what has happened now?" Marjorie asked as she reached out to Quinn.

Clodagh handed her over and smiled as Quinn placed slobbery kisses onto Marjories cheek. "Next time, she's going to you first to get her kisses out of her system." Marjorie joked as she looked at Autumn. The deputy smiled slightly as she rolled her eyes. "I would've had her first, but you beat me to it." Autumn spoke in her flat tone. "Clodagh, you were saying?" Siobhan mumbled as she watched everyone.

"The parents with the ginger hair, Sorscha calls her the ginger diva because she's a b-i-t-c-h. Anyway she just had a lovely rant to me about all the staff and about who is dating who but she didnt know i am married till she finished and Sorscha called me babe and it gave it all away." Clodagh explained.

Siobhan shook her head and took a breath. "Are you okay? I know i haven't always been the nicest to your wife, but i can call a meeting with that parent if it would make you feel better." Siobhan offered before noticing the look for Marjorie, but before she could say anything, Quinn put her hands on Marjories' cheeks before giggling, finding  it hilarious.

"Clodagh change of plan, Quinn can't have a place in the room. She's staying in the office all day to keep Marjorie quiet while i work." Autumn joked. "Im sure you could borrow her from the room ever now and again." Clodagh jokes along with it. "Clodagh, do you want me to have this meeting or not?" Siobhan asked again as everyone got distracted. "Personally it didnt bother me, like Sorscha says shes a b-i-t-c-h but that doesnt mean to say it wouldn't upset someone like Char or you because you guys are still in newish relationships and still finding your feet." Clodagh spoke to Siobhan as Marjorie moved closer to Autumn with Quinn in her arms.

"I will plan a meeting for this week. I dont really fancy having complaints about her from all the staff." Siobhan muttered as she pulled out her phone. "Im going to email her now because im not in the mood right now for polite conversations with homophonic parents." She mumbled while typing the email.

Clodagh watched as Marjorie passed Quinn over to Autumn. The way the womans face lit up every time she got to hold her made Clodaghs heart melt. Autumn instinctively held Quinn against her chest before standing up with her.

"Autumn, you are welcome to pop over in the evenings if you ever wanted to spend some time with her." Clodagh whispered as she moved closer to wipe Quinns nose. "I would like that." She said as Quinn started to fuss in Autumns arms. She adjusted her slightly. Quinn giggled before pulling Autumns glasses off her face and handing them to Clodagh. "You are getting cheeky, little miss." Autumn cooed before gently kissing her cheek. Clodagh watched while holding onto Autumns glasses so they didn't get broken.

Quinn placed her hands on Autumns cheeks while looking at her closely. The longer she looked, the more her bottom lip began to tremble. "Hey, bubs, it's okay." She hushed before gently trying to settle Quinn. "You haven't got your glasses on," Clodagh whispered before helping Autumns put them back on. "Is that better, baba? Did you think i was gone?" She mumbled softly before kissing her forehead. Quinn giggled slightly before yawning and snuggling herself into Autumns chest.

"Shall we get you back to your moma?" Autumn whispered quietly, but Quinn gripped Autumns shirt. The brunette giggled as she watched them both. "Auts, if you are happy to, you can let her fall asleep on you, then I will move her and take her home." Clodagh asked Autumn. She nodded and sat back at her desk, gently swinging on her chair.

"Right, while she's happy, im just going to talk to Sorscha." Clodagh whispered before leaving the office. "Never thought i would see the day that you are happy to hold a baby." Siobhan spoke in her normal tone, Autumn shot her a look. "I think you forgot about what happened." Marjorie mumbled nervously as to how Autumn would react.

The blonde sighed as she watched Autumn turn her chair around so her back was facing the other two women. "Autumn, i honestly think that one day you will be a wonderful mother." Siobhan told her softly. "Marjorie, can you take Quinn, please? I've got work to do, " she asked bluntly, but Marjorie shook her head. "Auts no. If you want to take her into the meeting room." Marjorie told her calmly. She knew what was happening.

Autumn stood up and walked out with Quinn protectively in her arms. "Marjorie, i didn't mean to upset her." Siobhan told her while Marjorie nodded. "It's okay. She's just holding in a lot of emotions, and small things send her over the edge. I know deep down that her holding Quinn is helping her with that loss. I know she was going to take herself off to cry." Marjorie told Siobhan.

The blonde stood up. "I mean, considering i was almost her stepmother, i may aswell check on her. I was the closest person she had to a mother." Siobhan mumbled before walking out and into the meeting room.

As they walked in, she spotted Autumn sitting in the corner of the room, tears falling down her cheeks as she watched Quinn asleep in her arms. Siobhan said nothing and just sat down quietly next to Autumn before wrapping her arm gently around her shoulders. "Let me talk before you interrupt, but i think one day you are going to be the most amazing mum. Look at how far you have come, even in the short time that I've known you. Im really proud of you, Autumn. Before you ask, i won't be this soppy again, we got to stay cold." The blonde spoke. Autumn looked up at Siobhan before snffling sightly. "Thank you, i appreciate it. Just any mention of that date is hard, you know." Autumn whispered, Siobhan nodded slightly before slowly grabbing a tissue from the table and gently wiping Autumns tears.

She moved her hand, gently rubbing Autumns  back. "Marjorie is worried about you, but i know her emotions can be a bit much, but she is waiting in the office to hug you, so be warned." Siobhan whispered with a soft smile. "When we go back into the office, could you hold Quinn, please? Just so she's not woken by Marjorie. " Siobhan said nothing and held out her arms. Autumn kissed Quinns head before passing her to Siobhan. The blonde instinctively cuddled the baby to her chest as she slept. "Dont look so surprised, i had a little sister, and i was forced to raise her, so i know when im doing when it comes to babies."

Autumn nodded before standing up. She knew that her and Siobhan were similar in the fact that neither of them liked to open up and talk. As they entered the office, Marjorie jumped up and rushed to Autumn, wrapping her arms around her. To Marjories' surprise, Autumn hugged her back. The pair stayed in eachothers embrace for a while. "Auts, it's okay." Marjorie whispered, letting go just as Clodagh walked in.

"Hey clo, Siobhans got her, and she's asleep. He's probably been like that for the last ten minutes." Clodagh smiled as she looked at the blonde holding the little girl. Once Clodagh had taken Quinn, everyone fell back into normal routine.
