Siobhan stood in front of her closet, staring at the rows of black clothing that hung lifelessly on the hangers. Each piece was a reminder of her past, a time filled with memories that felt more like chains than comfort. As she sifted through the fabric, the weight of her emotions became too much to bear. She felt a wave of sadness wash over her, and tears began to spill down her cheeks.

Vivian walked into the room, sensing the shift in the atmosphere. “Hey Bonbon, what’s wrong?” she asked softly, concern etched on her face. Siobhan turned to her, her voice trembling as she spoke. “It’s just these clothes… they’re all I have left from my time with him. Well that and my earring ans necklace but that was from my mum so it wasnt really him but every time I see them, I remember the fights, the heartbreak, and all the trauma that came with it.”

Vivian moved closer, wrapping her arms around Siobhan, offering her the comfort she desperately needed. “You don’t have to hold onto those memories, Siobhan. You’re not that person anymore, and you don’t have to wear those reminders,” she said gently.

“I know, but it’s hard,” Siobhan replied, her voice muffled against Vivian's shoulder. “I feel like I’m stuck in that past, and I want to move forward with you and Jamie, but these clothes keep dragging me back.” Vivian pulled back slightly, looking into Siobhan's eyes. “Let’s go through them together. We can pick out what you want to keep and what you want to let go of. You deserve to fill your closet with pieces that reflect who you are now, not who you were.”

Siobhan nodded, feeling a flicker of hope ignite within her. With Vivian by her side, she knew she could start to reclaim her space and her identity. Together, they began to sort through the clothes, and with each piece that Siobhan set aside, she felt a little lighter, ready to embrace the future they could build together.

Siobhan looked down slightly before clearing her throat. "Could i wear your shirt, you know the blue and white one. It smells like you." She whispered while keeping her head down. Vivian gently lifted Siobhans head up so she was looking at her. "Bons, you can wear it any time you want. I will never get crossed at you for wearing my clothes and then tomorrow we can go out and find you some new clothes that you feel comfortable in." She explained quietly before placing a gentle kiss against her forehead.

Siobhan picked out the top before moving to stand in front of the mirror, holding up Vivian's oversized shirt. The fabric was soft, and the vibrant colors seemed to dance in the light. “Are you sure I can wear this?” she asked, a hint of uncertainty in her voice.

Vivian leaned against the doorframe, a playful smile spreading across her face. “Absolutely! It’ll look amazing on you. Just try it on, I promise you’ll love it.”

With a deep breath, Siobhan slipped into the shirt. It hung loosely on her frame, the sleeves falling past her wrists. She turned to face Vivian, who was now beaming with excitement. “See? You look incredible! That color really brings out your eyes,” she said, her enthusiasm infectious.

Siobhan couldn’t help but smile at Vivian’s encouragement. “You really think so?”

“Definitely! You wear it better than I do,” Vivian replied, stepping closer. “You look so effortlessly beautiful.”

As Siobhan felt the warmth of Vivian’s presence, her heart raced. They locked eyes, and in that moment, everything else faded away. Vivian reached out, brushing a strand of hair behind Siobhan's ear, her touch sending shivers down Siobhan’s spine.

“Come here,” Vivian whispered, pulling Siobhan into a gentle embrace. Their lips met softly, a sweet kiss that spoke volumes of their connection. In that moment, Siobhan felt a wave of confidence wash over her, knowing that with Vivian by her side, she could face anything.

The next morning, Siobhan sat on the edge of the bed, her heart racing at the thought of going clothes shopping. The mere idea of stepping into a store filled with vibrant colours felt overwhelming. She sighed, burying her face in her hands. “I can’t do this, Viv. What if I can’t find anything I like? What if I just freeze up and can’t make a decision?”

Vivian, sensing Siobhan’s anxiety, knelt beside her and gently squeezed her shoulder. “Hey, it’s okay. We don’t have to do it the traditional way. How about we order some clothes online together instead? It’ll be more relaxed, and we can take our time picking out things that you love.”

Siobhan looked up, her eyes glimmering with hope. “Really? Do you think that would help?”

“Absolutely! Plus, we can choose colours that make you feel good. I know you like reds and greens and now apparently my blues. But they are all bright, happy colors, so they will help you start fresh,” Vivian replied, her voice soothing.

With a nod, Siobhan felt the tension in her chest begin to ease. They settled in front of the laptop, scrolling through various online stores. They laughed and shared their thoughts on different styles, with Vivian encouraging Siobhan to step outside her comfort zone.

When they found a few pieces that Siobhan loved, Vivian pulled out her card to pay. “I’ve got this. Consider it a little treat for you,” she said with a smile. Siobhan felt a rush of gratitude as they completed the order, knowing that with Vivian’s support, she was taking a step toward embracing her new beginning.
