Just like that, the door was slammed shut. "Everything happens for a reason... shh, it's okay... It's okay," she told herself when fighting back the tears that were burning her eyes. She slowly let her back slide down the cold wall till she was sitting on the floor, wrapping her arms across her chest in an attempt to self soothe.
Marjorie walked into the room, and her eyes immediately landed on Sorscha. "Hey my love, it's only me, Marjorie. Im going to sit next to you, and if you feel like talking, i will be here to listen," she told the Irish woman calmly before joining her on the floor.
"Im scared. I'm scared that im going to lose you all one by one. Everyone I love slowly leaves me, and I feel I've practically lost Char and now Winter. It's just a matter of time, really. I can't do it without my work family. Since losing Char, everything has been harder. I've sobbed more, and its been harder to hide everything, but now I can't love anyone anymore because they leave me more broken than when they found me."
Sorscha chocked out before letting the tears fall freely down her cheeks.
"Okay, my love, it's okay to let out all this emotion." Marjorie whispered as she moved towards Sorscha, wrapping her arms around her gently. "I can change the shifts if you want?" Marjorie offered softly, but Sorscha quickly shook her head. "Please dont. They have to be professional at work, and deep down, i know its all fake, but they have to talk to me and be at least civil with me. If i really think about it, i can almost go back to before everything changed." Sorscha whispered while gripping Marjorie. "Okay, my love, i won't change it,"
Marjorie sat quietly as she kept her arms wrapped around Sorscha. "Why me? Why do they hate me? What have i actually done wrong?" She asked sadly.
"This might give you answers, but i spoke to Charlotte yesterday, and i feel like this is all jealousy. Apparently, you and Clodagh have the perfect relationship, whereas her and Mia are still very new to this. Well, mias not, but Char really is, we all know how vanilla that girl is. And then, as for Winter, Autumn is pregnant, and well, she's seriously going through it after last time, so i can imagine that's bothering him."
Sorscha nodded slightly as she slowly let go of Marjorie. "I guess I'm the problem here then. My relationship is a problem for Char, and me talking to winter is a problem for him." She mumbled nervously while getting herself up off the floor. "Sorscha, please call Char. I know you aren't best friends right now, but you can save this friendship.
"Look, go into office and call her, i will wait for you out here and clear up so you dont have to." Marjorie told her softly. Sorscha nodded slightly before leaving the room to go into the office.

An hour had passed since Sorscha had left, and by this point, Marjorie had set up the room, uploaded everything on the app, and made a start on some of the reports. She knew the reports made everyone feel stressed, so she did what she could to help. After a while, Sorscha walked back in and sighed. "Come on, let's go home." Sorscha mumbled, but Marjorie shook her head. "Talk to me, please." Marjorie told her calmly as she sat herself down on the table. "There is nothing to say. Im a brag, a bitch, i make her job harder. What more can i say." She mumbled nervously before looking up for a couple of seconds.
"Marjorie, im going home. As much as i appreciate the help, im done now. im going home." The Irish told her sternly before walking away. "Im sorry." Marjorie told her calmly before heading to the office and picking up her phone.

"Marjorie, you don't understand. i dont want to talk to her. I know you told her to call me, but she's so full of herself and her relationship im so over it." Charlotte told Marjorie. "Char this isnt you, you see the good in everyone. Come on you found good in Mia." Marjorie pointed out as Charlotte sighed. "Well maybe I've changed, people do that. Maybe here isn't my home anymore." Charlotte muttered as she shrugged her shoulders.
"Charlotte, give your head a wobble, this isn't you! Sorscha needs her friend, you are, well were her best friend and now shes got no one and is breaking down in the room because she can't at home with a young baby and a struggling wife!" Marjorie told Charlotte coldly. She had to get through to her somehow.
There was a moment of silence on the phone until Charlotte sighed. "Marjorie, what have i done? I've pushed her further and further away. I didn't even mean to." Charlotte spoke quietly as she thought about what had happened. "Is she still with you?" Charlotte asked quickly, Marjorie looked out the window. "I thought she left, but she is sitting in her car, and by the looks of it, she's upset." Marjorie told her. "Keep her there! Im on my way!" Charlotte demanded before hanging up.

A while had passed since the phone call ended. Marjorie had gone out and sat in Sorschas car with her. They had spent some time talking about anything that came to mind. "Yeah and Reece - " Marjorie started as Charlotte raced into the empty car park, parking up next to sorscha. She quickly got out of her car and ran to the drivers side of Sorschas car.
"Oh god, she's here to start again. Marjorie, what do i do?" Sorscha panicked as she quickly wiped her cheeks. "Hey, she wouldn't dare with me here. Come on, it's okay." Marjorie whispered before noticing Charlotte stood by her door.
Marjorie gave Charlotte a slight nod. The brunette slowly opened the car door. "Sorscha, please dont cry. I hate seeing you upset." Charlotte whispered nervously as she reached out to touch her hand. Before Charlotte got close, Sorscha moved her hand back.
"Sors, please, im sorry. I was horrible to you, but you have the most amazing little family. I just find it all so hard with mia coming and going and my girls being at their dads. No one is just always there. You have everyone with you always. I never meant to hurt you." Charlotte spoke calmly as she slowly put her arms around Sorscha.
The Irish woman fell into Charlotte's embrace while sniffling slightly. "Hey, shh, it's okay. You are okay. We are here, and i am so sorry." Charlotte whispered. As she spoke, Marjorie gently took Sorschas hair out of her usual style and played with it gently. "I thought i lost you. I can't lose you." Sorscha chocked back a sob as she spoke to Charlotte.
"Okay, sors, it's all okay." Charlotte whispered softly. "I know that you have a wonderful wife and excited baby waiting for you at home. Do you think we should all head home now?" Marjorie whispered as she watched the two friends. Sorscha looked at Charlottes nervously. "You can pick up the phone at any point if you want to talk and make up lost time." The brunette told sorscha softly. She finally agreed before parting ways and heading home to spend the evening with their partners.
