Autumn sat in hers and Marjories office, her fists clenched and her breathing fast. "Autumn, take a deep breath, my love." Marjorie whispered before moving closer. "I'm here, and im going to sit with you." Marjorie whispered before placing her hand on Autumns shoulders to try and relax her.

Before anyone could process anything, Marjories face was met, but Autumns fist. The contact echoed the room shortly, followed by a cry from Marjorie. For a moment, the room stood still. Both Marjorie and Autumn looked at each other, but Marjorie stepped back nervously while clutching her cheek.

"What has happened in here?!" Reece shouted as he entered, hearing Marjorie from down the corridor. He looked at the two women's faces and shook his head. "Why do you look so guilty?" Reece questioned Autumn anxiously before looking at Marjorie, spotting blood on her top.

"Babe, come and sit down." He whispered before grabbing the box of tissues from the desk. "I will try not to hurt you, beautiful, but your nose is bleeding." He whispered before kneeling in front of Marjorie and gently trying to stop the blood.

"I-i want to go home," she sobbed as her whole body trembled. "Hey, you are okay, let's take some deep breaths," Reece whispered, but Marjorie shook her head quickly, fear evident in her eyes as she kept looking at Autumn. "Reece, i punched her. She put her hand on my back so as a reflex, i punched her. That's why she's scared." Autumn explained quietly before standing up and moving closer.

Marjories' whole body tensed as Autumn got closer and closer. "Baby, i know you are scared, i know, but Im here now." Reece whispered as Autumn knelt down next to Reece. He put his spare arm around her shoulders as she rested her head on his shoulder. "I know Auts, but it's okay. No one is mad at you. It's okay." Reece whispered as Marjorie watched fearfully.

"As much as you love Winter, i know that after something like this happens, you just need me to be here. I get it." Reece hushed as he was careful to validate her feelings. Autumn sighed before nodding, holding onto Reeces waist.

"Baby, im just going to look at your beautiful face." He whispered softly before moving the tissue away. "I think apart from a black eye and a nosebleed. You are okay. " he told her calmly before slowly standing up, pulling Autumn with him. He sat down on the couch next to Marjorie before pulling autumn into the gap.

Reece sat quietly in the middle of the couch with an arm around his sister and the other around the love of his life. "Babe, why did you touch Auts?" He asked softly, making Marjorie sigh. "She was clearly stressed about something, and i wanted to help." Marjorie mumbled nervously. Hearing how Marjorie spoke made Autumn grip reece tighter. "I-i didn't mean to, it took me by surprise. I'm sorry." Autumn mumbled back.

"You two are both okay." He whispered softly while holding them both closely. "I've got you. " he hushed as they both held onto Reece. Autumn hid her head into Reece the best she could. The moment he felt her shift, he let go of Marjorie, putting both arms around her. "No one is going to shout at you. No one is angry." He whispered softly while holding her closer.

They only had their childhood to blame for how Autumn was feeling right now. No one else could ever come close to what they did. "Shall we get winter to take you home?" Reece questioned, but Autumn shook her head quickly. "Dont let go," she whispered into his chest. With that, Marjorie moved herself to the other side of Autumn. "It's only me." She whispered before putting her arms around Autumn.

The deputy jumped slightly before relaxing again. Marjorie watched her friend as she kept her arms around her. Although Marjorie was the one that was injured, right now, Autumn was the one that needed to be looked after. "Autumn, im not cross at you. Yeah, my nose hurts, and my eye is throbbing, but that doesn't mean i am angry at you. I promise." Marjorie whispered as she moved Autumns hair behind her ear. "It's okay." Reece whispered before pulling back to look at his sister. "Let's stop the tears. You are safe." Marjorie moved slowly and passed her a tissue to which she wiped her eyes.

"I need to get back to work." Autumn mumbled as she went to stand up, but Reece held onto her. "In a minute. I know you are trying to block out all of your emotions right now, but you haven't needed me like this since we were kids, so i know for a fact you aren't okay as you say." He told her as Marjorie moved away from Autumn slightly to give her some space.

"The last time was when i was doing Mias hair, and i pulled a knot in her hair, making her complain about it, and the father lost his shit at me... i wasn't allowed to eat for two nights, but Mia snuck food in for me." She mumbled with tears in her eyes as she went back to clinging onto reece.

"Okay, Auts, you're okay. How about i take us out to get greggs sausage rolls for lunch?" He asked her, but she shook her head. "I want to stay here." She whispered before moving herself slightly to get comfortable. "Babe, can you call Winter, please?" Reece mouthed, to which Marjorie nodded and sent him a message.

Moments later, the office door opened, and winter walked in slowly. He looked at Marjories battered face before spotting his wife on the couch. "My love," he whispered softly. Her head shot at the sound of his voice. She moved away from Reece and rushed into his waiting arms. "I've got you, my sweet. I've got you, " he hushed. "Winter, please, her home. I will message you and explain everything later on, but for now, just get her home, please." Reece told him.

Autumn looked at Reece as he spoke and nodded slightly at her. "You are okay. Winter has got you. Im going to cover it here, and then we will pop over after work." He told her softly before walking over and planting a kiss on the top of her head.

Once the couple had left, reece looked at Marjorie before wrapping his arms around her tightly. "Im so sorry, baby," he spoke calmly as Marjorie hugged him back. "It's all okay. She just needs all the love she can get right now. Bless her." Marjorie whispered as the couple stayed in eachothers embrace
