Veronica's POV:
Ivy, Harley, & I enter the theater where Clayface is holding auditions for the role of Lena.
Actress #1:
*off-key*
I'm Lena
The triplets whine at the off-key singing, and Clayface is no better off either, given the look on his face.
Clayface: "Thank you! Goodbye. Next!"
Actress #2:
*operatic*
I'm Lena
Harley: "Thank you. Now get out!"
Frank: "What are you all starin' at? She said go!"
So, the actresses dash offstage and out of the theater, grumbling that their chance to star in a musical has been ruined.
Clayface: "Wait! Where are you going? No casting decisions have been made."
Harley: "Yes, they have. Me, I am your Lena, and Ronnie is my understudy. Now, where is our dressing room?"
Clayface: "Harley, you may be good at bashing heads and dropping F-bombs, but singing is not your forte."
Frank: "Don't you talk about Harley's forte. She's been working hard to drop a couple of pounds off that forte."
Harley front-flips off the stage and uses her bat to smash one of the theater seats.
Harley: "Imagine if that seat was your Clayface."
Clayface: "Harley. Harley. Violence is not the answer."
Harley: "Then how about blackmail? I'll just call the newsroom and tell them that Perry White is actually--"
Clayface: "You're hired!"
Harley & I: "Mm-hmm."
Clayface: "Welcome, Ms. Quinzel & Mrs. Nygma, to the cast of 'Brainiac, The Tragedy Of--The Musical'."
Harley: "I have some thoughts on the script."
{Time skip}
As much as RIddler would love to support the family, namely me and Harley, he's still anti-Clayface, and anything to do with him, so he's staying at home with the kids. It's probably best since the loud music would eventually bother or wake the kids, so it's all worked out for the best.
Now, the audience is arriving and sitting in their seats as Harley leads me to Bane to confront him about the script.
Harley: "Bane!"
Bane: "Oh, Jesus!"
Harley: "This line where Lena says to Brainiac, 'We had a deal. You promised me I could protect Metropolis'."
Bane: "Yeah, what about it?"
Harley: "Lena doesn't need Brainiac's 'ok' to do something, ok? She drives the story. She doesn't whine to Brainiac like a fucking baby!-*to me*-No offense to your babies."
Me: "None taken."
Bane: "But she literally said exactly that when she was telling us about--"
Harley: "I don't care what she said. I care what I am saying. And what I am saying is that this is garbage, and I won't say it!"
Bane: "Yeah, but the integrity of our--"
