Bottle Episode (But Not A 'Bottle Episode'): Part 2

Veronica's POV:

Having stopped by Lex's home, we're now in the Btplane on our way to the Skull Ship, with me in cat form sitting in Harley's lap.

Harley: "Monitor says the Skull's reached Earth's thermosphere. So we should be good."

Mom: "See, Harley. You & Ronnie wasted all that time getting PhDs, when you could've been the first female pilot."

Harley: "Mom, there are a ton of female pilots."

Mom looks away, crossing her arms with a scoff.

Mom: "Not in any airline I fly."

Harley: "Oh, my God, Mom. You can't say stuff like that."

Mom: "What?"

Harley annoyedly huffs, using her free hand to pet me so she can calm down. Meanwhile, Ivy & Lex share an awkward moment in the backseat, with Lex holding a white box.

Ivy: "Well, Lex. Haven't seen you in a bit."

Lex: "No, no. I-I mean, yeah. Yep."

Ivy: "Yep, yep, yep. So, um, what, uh, pray tell, is in the box?"

Lex: "Oh, the box.-*chuckles*-The ultimate weapon to take down Lena."

Ivy: "Cool. Cool. Is it, like, a grenade or laser--?"

Lex: "Oh, you'll see."

Ivy: *shrugs* "Ok."

Lex: "Um, your hair. It's redder than usual."

Ivy: "Oh, my God. That's so funny. No one noticed." *chuckles*

Lex: "You know, people think that bald men don't appreciate hair, but it's all we ever think about."

Once we're aboard the Skull Ship, I leap out of Harley's lap and revert to my human form while stretching.

Harley: "Listen, Mom, you stay here. Ronnie & I ain't losing both our parents this week."

Mom: "Ok. Hey, will you see if they have any decaf green tea?"

Harley: "Mom, Mom, Mom, Mom, Mom, Mom!"

Mom: "Ok, it could be caffeinated, sheesh."

Harley: *to me* "Think you could turn back for another few minutes? Or forever?"

I chuckle as I place an arm around Harley's shoulders and follow her and Ivy into the control room.

Lena: "What the fu--? Ugh. It's you three. Shouldn't you be dead? Ugh, just grab your stupid plant and leave me alone!"

Ivy: "Her name is Frankette, and we'll take her right after you're dead."

Harley: "It's time to stop this shit, Lena."

Lena: *laughs* "Stop? Stop? Nothing can stop me, honey."

Lena's eyes glow green as she levitates and shakes the ship, but she stops when Lex steps into view.

Lex: "Hello, little baby sister."

Lex approaches Lena and the bottled-up Metropolis.

Lena: "I've been looking for you. Uh, what do you think? Pretty impressive, huh?"
