The underground Davenport lab was filled with tension, the atmosphere thick with an uncomfortable silence as the President of the United States himself stood before Donald Davenport, his three bionic children, and Special Agent Graham. Adam, Bree, and Chase stood in a line, their postures rigid as their father awaited the President's verdict.

The decision had already been made, but it had to be said aloud for all to hear.

"Mr. Davenport," the President finally spoke, his voice calm but laced with disappointment, "I'm returning command of your bionic children to you."

A victorious smirk tugged at the corners of Davenport's lips, but he held his tongue as he glanced at his kids, who stood relieved yet composed. Graham, however, was not as quiet.

"Mr. President, with all due respect," Graham argued, stepping forward, "these kids are the world's mightiest weapons! We can't just hand them over to a civilian!"

Bree scoffed and crossed her arms. "Excuse me, but we're not weapons." She shot a glare at Graham before turning back to the President. "Also, for the record, we weren't glitching earlier when we showed you our abilities. We only made it look that way to expose him."

Chase nodded in agreement, stepping beside his sister. "Agent Graham has been using us to gain more fame and money. He doesn't see us as people—just as tools to further his own career."

Graham's face turned red as he looked to the President for backup, but the man's expression was stone-cold. "That true?" the President asked, his voice low, yet dangerous.

Graham clenched his jaw, trying to find an excuse, but Chase wasn't finished. "And another thing," Chase added, his voice firm. "You keep saying we shouldn't be in the hands of a civilian, but Mr. Davenport isn't just some random guy—he's our father."

The entire room fell silent.

The President's eyes widened as he turned back to Davenport. "Excuse me?" His voice was sharp, carrying an edge that made Graham visibly shrink.

Davenport sighed, adjusting his tie. "Yeah, that's right. I created them, but they're more than just science experiments. They're my kids."

The President's expression darkened as he turned to Graham. "And when, exactly, were you going to tell me this?"

Graham struggled for words. "I—I didn't think it was relevant—"

"Not relevant?" The President's voice rose. "You kept me in the dark about these kids' parentage, manipulated their abilities for your own gain, and had the nerve to call them weapons? You're done, Graham."

Graham opened his mouth to protest, but the President raised a hand, silencing him.

"Mr. Davenport, your children are officially back in your care."

Adam, Bree, and Chase grinned, but their celebration was short-lived. Bree's expression turned serious as she stepped forward. "Since we're getting our rights back... could you help Diana, too?"

Davenport sighed heavily, looking away. "Bree... you know that's not possible. I don't have the rights to help her."

The siblings frowned, but before they could argue, Graham let out an exasperated breath and turned toward a girl standing off to the side—Diana.

Diana had been silent the entire time, watching everything unfold with sharp, calculating eyes. Unlike the others, she wasn't part of Davenport's original team, but rather under Graham's direct command. A bionic soldier with a complicated past.

"You refuse to follow orders," Graham snapped at her, his frustration boiling over. "And now you expect them to just take you in?"

Before Diana could answer, the doors of the lab suddenly slid open.

Colonel William Lennox strode in, his military boots echoing against the lab's floor. He barely had time to process the situation before Diana—who had been standing still up until now—moved with blinding speed.

Within seconds, she was in front of him, throwing her arms around his torso. "Dad."

Lennox let out a breath, instantly wrapping his arms around her. He kissed the top of her head, then trailed soft kisses down her neck as he stroked her hair. "Shh, it's okay. I got you," he murmured.

Graham looked horrified. "She—she is not your daughter!"

Lennox's sharp eyes landed on him, and he took a step forward, shielding Diana from the agent. "Like hell, she isn't."

The President raised a brow at the colonel. "You have a claim on her?"

Lennox didn't hesitate. He pulled out a folder, handing it over. The President took one look at the documents inside before his expression hardened.

"This is a confirmed paternity test," he announced. "And a court decision awarding full parental rights to Colonel William Lennox."

The room exploded into chaos.

"You—" Graham's face turned ghostly pale. "You had no right—"

"I had every right," Lennox shot back, his voice venomous. "I had my suspicions the moment I met her. Too many similarities to be a coincidence. So, I took a blood sample and did a DNA test. And guess what? She's mine." His voice softened as he turned back to Diana. "I don't care if you were artificially made or not. You're my daughter. And I'm taking you home."

Diana clutched onto him, unable to stop the tears that welled in her eyes. She had always known, but she hadn't dared to say anything. Not in front of Graham. If she had, he would've sent her to the Red Room.

Graham made one last attempt at an excuse. "Mr. President, sir, I—"

The President held up a hand, effectively silencing him again. "Colonel Lennox isn't just some civilian," he said coolly. "His military history and battles against the Decepticons speak for themselves. He has every right to take his daughter back."

Lennox exhaled, his grip on Diana tightening for just a moment before he turned to Davenport.

Davenport extended a hand. "If you need help with her training as a bionic hero, I'd be happy to assist."

Lennox shook his hand but smirked. "Appreciate it, but I think we'll be fine. I am, however, enrolling her in the same school as your kids."

Adam, Bree, and Chase brightened at the news, but Lennox's voice turned wry. "That said... I've had enough of labs. I want my little girl away from them." He shot Diana a teasing look. "Last thing I need is to feel like I'm at work when I'm with my kid."

Diana rolled her eyes playfully. "Oh, come on, Dad. You've been through crazier things than this."

Lennox smirked. "Which is exactly why I need a break. Now, what do you say we ditch this place and hit the mall?"

Before they could leave, Diana suddenly turned back to Chase. Without hesitation, she hugged him tightly—then, before anyone could react, she pressed her lips to his.

Chase's eyes widened, and he instinctively kissed her back, his arms moving to hold her—but Diana swiftly slipped away.

Leo, Adam, and Bree stood in stunned silence.

Bree gasped. "Did she just—"

Adam gawked. "Chase got kissed?!"

Leo pointed. "And she wrote her number on his arm!"

Chase, still dazed, looked down at the number scribbled onto his skin. He was their mission leader... but that didn't stop them from teasing him.

Lennox chuckled, placing a hand on Diana's shoulder. "Let's go, kid."

Diana shot one last glance at Chase before following her father out the door.

As soon as they were gone, Adam grinned. "Well, well, well. Looks like our little Chasey has a girlfriend."

Chase groaned, burying his face in his hands. Today had been an insane day. And somehow... it had only just begun.
