"Oh, I thought it was obvious. You're going to be the next me. That darkness in you. I love it. Everyone wants you to hide it. Not me. I want you to show them how dark you can truly be."

"Yes. My dad was murdered, and I was the last person to see him alive. My mom thought that if she put his murder on an episode of Unsolved Mysteries, they might find out who did it."

Kenzie looked around and saw an axe sitting in a glass case. She broke the glass with her elbow and grabbed the axe. With both hands, she raised and plunged the axe into the back of the guard.

He groaned in pain and stumbled to the ground. He turned around and gasped in pain. "What the fuck are you doing?"

"Shut the fuck up!" She raised the axe again. The axe plunged into his chest. She did it again and again and again. Blood splattered on her face. Everywhere. After a while, she panted heavily and dropped the axe. She looked at the nurse with the blood staining her clothes. "He won't hurt you anymore."

Someone placed a hand on Kenzie's shoulder. "Don't worry. I'll fix everything."

Patrick leaned over to Lisbon. "I think we should leave."

Teresa brushed him off. "She's not even here yet."

A slightly older, blonde woman in a white button-down and a gray pencil skirt with glasses walked in.

Lisbon turned. "Are you Dr. Evelyn Micheals?"

"Yes," she answered.

"How the fuck did you escape?" asked a confused and scared Evelyn, standing near the door.

With fury in her eyes and a smirk on her face, Kenzie grabbed the axe and plunged it into Evelyn's shoulder. She screamed as she painfully took the axe out. Kenzie grabbed Evelyn's hair and rammed it into the staircase rail.

"We call ourselves the Blake Association."

"Cops, judges, FBI agents. Anyone in law enforcement that needs a secret covered up."

"A secret society of dirty cops," Kenzie sighed. "And Red John's a member. Honestly, I'm not surprised."

"I think she mentioned how she was a consultant on some cases. I never saw her shoulders. It's probably because she thought I was in the organization." She gulped nervously. "That's how she did it. That's how she was able to get away with all of those..."

"Today we're pleased to announce that we–we finally have a name, a face. The director of the division of law enforcement, Gail Bertram, is Red John."

Kenzie grabbed his wrist and pulled him closer to her. Patrick stood there, confused. Without any hesitation, Kenzie grabbed his cheeks and pulled him into a kiss. Patrick wrapped his arms around her lower back, deepening the kiss. Kenzie's fingers ran through his hair. They pulled back, softly panting.
