Kenzie and Patrick were standing in front of a foosball table at a bar near the small town. Lilly was back home with Wilma. Teresa and Nicole were on the sides of the table, tugging the scoreboard.

Kenzie eagerly and strategically twisted the blue handles and smirked when the white ball landed in Patrick's goal. "Ha. Ha," she teased.

"You do realize this is just a game," he reminded.

"You know, only losers would say that." Patrick was slightly appalled. "And I just like to win."

Patrick scoffed. "Alright." He grabbed the ball and placed it in the middle. Without realizing it, Kenzie started spinning the handles. "Oh, you know what? That— that's cheating. That's– that was spinning. Just spinning."

"Okay. There's spinning here."

"No, there isn't!"

He turned to Nicole for agreement. She smirked. The two continued the game. Kenzie cheered as the ball landed in Patrick's goal... again.

"Down that field," she exclaimed. "Did that hurt?"

"What?"

"Did that hurt?"

"All right."

"I'm sorry. I'm just saying... it might hurt that you got beaten by a girl."

He playfully rolled his eyes as he walked over to the bar. Teresa took a couple of steps toward Kenzie while Nicole leaned against the table, watching the TV in the corner of the bar.

"Thank you for making me more money," said Res.

"Well, I don't know why anyone would doubt me," she said, loud enough for Nicole to hear.

Nicole turned around with a slightly annoyed look. "He's practically a mind reader. I thought he would know your tells."

She happily shrugged. "Oh my God," whispered Teresa.

Kenzie raised an eyebrow and turned to the TV. "In addition to the two FBI agents, a third victim, Edward Hu, was on his way to testify today in the high-profile murder trial against Kelvin Bittaker," said a new anchor. "Bittaker is currently being held on suspicion of the murder of A.U. scholarship student Jamie Owen. Owen, from San Diego, California, was allegedly beaten to death last month by Bittaker after a dispute in a bar."

She sighed. "Guess we're going home early." Her cell phone started ringing. "Hey, boss. Yeah, we'll be right there."

"Several witnesses in the bar claimed Mr. Bittaker appeared intoxicated... and had to be restrained several times from becoming violent."

Kenzie quickly hugged the girls. "We'll tell Lilly," reassured Nicole.

She walked over to Patrick and placed her hand on his shoulder. "We gotta go."

"Yeah... uh, 86 the wings," he said.

"Uh, sure," said the bartender.

"Thank you. Sorry."

The two walked out of the bar.

Kenzie and Patrick walked into the FBI bullpen. She bit her tongue to avoid letting out a sigh. Abbott and a familiar man were standing in the conference room while the rest of the team sat at the table. When they entered, the two men looked up.

"Jane, Kenzie," greeted Abbott. "You recall Agent Spackman, Dallas FBI." Patrick sighed. Kenzie cleared her throat, telling him to shut up. "He called us in on this one."
