It's been at least a year since Red John's killing spree came to an end and Patrick left. Kenzie was now on her mother's farm, helping her taking care of the horses and the farmers market.

Lilly was a junior in high school. Kenzie refused to believe that. Sure, the farm life was boring, but it was quiet and safe. That is all she needs... right?

Her thoughts were interrupted by Lilly running up to her in her cowboy boots and blue-plaid long-sleeve shirt. "Mama? That agent man is here to see you?" Lilly panted.

Kenzie raised an eyebrow. "What agent?"

She followed Lilly out onto the front yard where Agent Abbott was standing. Kenzie rolled her sleeves up, revealing more of her tattoos. Her mother complained about spending more money on them, but Kenzie believed it was worth it. Plus, most of them were in places that a lot of people couldn't see, unless she was wearing shorts.

She placed her hands on her hips. "Agent Abbott? Hate to break it to you, but, uh, farmer's market is on Sunday. You'll have to come back later."

Abbott looked at the farm and the farmhouse. "Nice place you've got here."

"What do you want? 'Cause Texas from California is a very long plane ride."

Abbott exhaled. "Have you heard from Jane?"

"Nope."

"Nothing? No e-mail, no phone call?" Kenzie shook her head. "What about Rigsby or Van Pelt? Have they heard anything?"

"I'm having dinner with them, Nic, and Res soon. You can ask them there."

"And Cho?"

"Nope. Also, if Cho did, he wouldn't have told me." She sighed. "Look, I don't know where he is, and honestly, I could care less."

"Well... you two were so close."

Kenzie licked her lips and sighed. "It was a long time ago." She stared at him. "Don't you think that maybe it's a sign to stop looking for him?"

"Oh, we're the FBI. We don't give up." Abbott looked down at Kenzie's neckline. "This is a nice shell."

Kenzie looked down at the chain with a shell attached to it. "It's a cowrie."

"Oh. May I?"

"Sure." Abbott lightly grasped the shell. "You know, they say a shell always carries around the sound of the ocean with it."

Abbott hummed.

After their dinner, the two couples and Kenzie moved to her living room. A couple glasses of wine were scattered across the coffee table. Teresa became a cop for Kenzie's small town. Nicole became a guidance counselor at the local high school.

"So I finally managed to hack through the firewall, and it turns out the cyber mastermind stealing credit card numbers is an 11-year-old from Minneapolis," explained Grace.

"What?!" exclaimed Nicole and Res.

"Damn," muttered Kenzie.

"Yeah," Grace continued. "He was selling them to his friends so they could buy limited-edition sneakers."

"All of that for some shoes."

"Oh, like you wouldn't have paid someone to the same thing," said Nicole knowingly.

"Not for some shoes."

"Did he get arrested?" Teresa asked.

"I don't know," said Grace. "We turned the information over to the Minneapolis PD."
