Chapter 8: Strange Glances

Bonnie's P.O.V.~
I opened the double doors with confidence! No more crying children! Yes! I was so happy!
"Yeah!" I jumped and covered my mouth. That was my robot voice. I haven't used that voice in forever! I started to walk down the hall with a smile on my face. But after a while, it seemed like the entire school became silent. Everybody was staring at me! What is it? The bunny ears? The purple jumper? The purple hair?! My smile slowly started to fade when I started hearing them talking, specifically about me!
"Kindergarten is in the other building!"
"Is that a jumper? Gross!"
"Robotics are down the hall and to the left, loser!"
"Purple bunny ears? No wonder she's new!"
I looked down at the floor, because they were all staring at me. But I wasn't even watching where I was going, and all of a sudden-
"Ow!" I bumped into someone, causing me to drop all of my books. The boy I had bumped into got down on his knees and picked them up for me.
"I'm sorry lass. I wasn't watching where I was going!" Said the boy. He had maroon fox ears and black marker marks under his eyes. He wore a red t-shirt and brown pants.
"No I'm sorry! I wasn't watching where I was going!" I quickly replied. I stuck out my hand.
"Thank you for helping me! I'm Bonnie!" I quickly shut my mouth again. This is going to be annoying. The boy laughed.
"So you have one too, I see!" He smiled and stuck out his hand too. "I'm Foxy! It's a pleasure to meet you!" We shook hands. Well, it looks like I've made a friend! We walked to our lockers together, all while getting a few glances from people. So, just to confirm that we were friends, he put his arm around me, (like the picture at the beginning XD) and he started smiling like a goofball! This is gonna be great!
