Promised Protection

I walk inside with Harry after getting on better terms with him over the death of Dobby. "I want to talk to the Goblin" Harry demands. Bill leads Harry, Ron and Hermione upstairs. While Atti, Luna and I stay with Fleur.

"You and Harry alright now?" Fleur asks. "Yeah. I think so." I smile. "So-" Fleur uttered again this time into her morning coffee. "What do you think you'll do?" She asked, receiving confused looks from us. "Well- Are you going to go home to your families? Or back to school?" "Oh, well.. I want to go back,-" Atti starts. "Me too!" Luna speaks, grabbing Atti's hand. "I'd rather not go back to the Dark Lord at my house so yeah, school. Since I'm not allowed to live with Fred and George. Let alone visit them." I sigh, sinking into a chair.

Later on in the day Atti told us he wanted to go talk to Ollivander himself. Leaving Luna and I sitting alone outside on the table and chairs we set up in the sandy backyard. "What should we do." I speak up, feeling slightly awkward. Luna is lovely but I struggle to handle all her constant positivity, that's something I'm getting used to though. "Oh I know. Let's tell each other something we've never told anyone before. Okay ill go first." She beams. "Atticus and I are getting married." She smiles, sinking into her chair giggling. "What. He proposed already?" I question. "Oh he doesn't know yet." "Huh." Is all I can muster. 

"Okay now you tell me a secret." She continues with a positive grin. "Like what?" I question. "Oh anything like how far have you gone with George? Or what's this ring on your finger all about?" She sings. I instantly blush. "Oh its a promise ring. Like we promise to be together forever," I beam. "Aww its beautiful. Is the gems supposed to symbolize the both of you." Luna asks. "Yeah I guess. I never thought about it that way. Isn't he sweet." I mutter, blushing even more. "And to answer your other secret. Were waiting for the right moment to go all the way." I tell her smiling. "Do you want kids. I think you will be a lovely mother." Luna blurts out in her sweet tone. "I would love to but I'm scared they will become a werewolf like me or Lupin." I start to tear. 

Behind us we hear a smash. We both turn and Fleur has dropped two mugs of tea on the ground. Shit she must have heard what I just said. "What happened dear" Bill appears behind Fleur. "I should probably explain." I utter standing from my seat. "Sit, please." I gesture to the confused couple. "Luna could you.. "Oh yes absolutely." Luna beams, knowing what I meant. She gets up cleaning the mess before fleur could get the chance. Bill and Fleur sit at the table and I pace in front of them.

"Well Fleur just heard me say that I'm a werewolf and I want to explain." I blurt looking up to their stunned faces. "We're listening Asteria. Go on." Bill says, holding Fleur's hand in his to keep her calm. "Soo long version or short version." I try joke. "Okay in third year when Lupin wolfed out in front of us. That night I ran into Lupin accidently in the forest and he scratched me in his wolf form hence.." "I'm so sorry Asteria. Zat must have been so hard to deal with." She cries. "Oh it's okay I had my friends on my side and I'm dealing with it now. Lupin helps out after I told him I wasn't mad for what he did." Fleur and Bill both get up and pull me into a hug. "Thanks" I beam, happy now that I let that out. "You're welcome. What are family's for." Fleur says smiling as she pulls away from the hug along with Bill. "Soon to be Family I hope." Bill rings. "Me too" I say happily. 

"Now I should probably explain my scar to you." Bill says pointing to the scar across his face. "Thanks to Greyback. Luckily he didn't attack me in wolf form but I do now like to eat raw steaks now and then." We all let out a giggle. "Thanks for telling me." I say looking down at my feet. "Anytime you want to talk we're here." Bill explains lifting my face up to look at theirs. Fleur is nodding and smiling.

It's later in the evening, Atti has been talking to Ollivander for hours. "Let's go." Atti says, starling me as he walks down the stairs. "Oh do be careful" Fleur beams. "We will Fleur, promise." I say hugging her before walking over to Atti. "I'm ready." I tell him. "Me too. Lovely home again and thank you for letting us stay." Luna beams grabbing Atti's hand. "Where should we go. Hogsmeade?" Atti says, thinking. "It's probably crawling with Deatheater's." Luna answers. "Don't worry I know a secret way into the castle." I whisper. We turn and say our thanks to Bill and fleur once more. "Ready." I say. they both nod and I grab Atti's hand, apparating us straight to the back door of the Hogs Head in Hogsmeade. Aberforth told me that it would always be unlocked for emergencies.

"Here we are." I say opening the door as we get to our destination. "Isn't this the Hogs Head" Luna says, looking around as they both enter. "Yes it is. It doesn't look like Abe is here though." The owner of this place is Dumbledore's brother Aberforth. I met him with Ginny, Stella and Neville when you two were you know in my basement. We found a tunnel in the undercroft which lead here." I tell them walking over to Arianna's portrait. "And this is Arianna Dumbledore. She passed in a a tragic way. Anyway. Arianna may we please go through. My friends ands I would like to return to Hogwarts." She smiles and bows for us, as her portrait swings open. Dark and Ominous corridors Atti's favourite." Atti grins, looking at me. "I know, Lets go." I smile leading the way, as we light our wands at the same time.
