We find out the next day the reason Harry and Ron didn't come to the party. Ron was poisoned by the very same drink Draco had told me he smuggled in Professor Slughorn's office for him to try kill Dumbledore and easier way.

"Well that failed Draco. Just like the cursed necklace" I beam one night in the common room. "Shut up Astra." You don't know what it's like." Draco moans. "I'm not getting into this again Draco. I think what I went through in mine is wayyy worse than this." I was mad now. "I still haven't gotten through some of the shit I had to do." I see him rolling his eyes so I just walk off to my private room for the rest of the night.

I haven't been sleeping well since coming back to school. Iv'e been stressed with trying  to help Draco with the cabinet. The party was great though. It has made me sneak into Snape's stores to 'borrow' some more gillyweed and smoking it with Theo. We quickly became even closer. He confessed to me he had  crush on Regina. and I told him all about how happy George makes me.

7th March

Draco begs me to come with him to try figure out this cabinet. We trail through the corridors to a cage with a bird it it. Draco opens the cage and grabs the bird out holding it in his hands. "Draco what are you doing with that bird." I question. "Shhh" he shushes me before he closes his eyes and opens the room of requirement. He prances in right to the cabinet. "Draco don't hurt the poor thing." I moan suddenly realising what he's going to do. "Its the only way Astra. We need to move on to test living things." He pulls the cover off the cabinet and places the bird inside, closing the door. I hear the bird chirping inside until Draco mutters the words. 

"Harmonia Nectere Passus"

The door opens and the bird has gone to the other cabinet. We both smile but I'm still worried about the bird. With another close of the cabinet and more words muttered he opens the door again to reveal the bird dead on the cabinet floor.

We failed again. This is hard. We both have a bit of an argument then we breakdown.

March 9th

Bang

I had just drifted off to sleep after being awake all night. "Astra get up, come to breakfast with me." Draco yells outside my door. I groan. "Fineee gimme a few minutes." I yell back, while looking at my disheveled appearance in the mirror. I had the biggest bags under my eyes, and my hair a big mess. I pull out my hairbrush to fix my hair, making it long and wavy.

I walk into the Great Hall with my brother prancing ahead of me. I look over the tables to see If I can spot some of my friends, not realising Draco has stood still, so I walk into him. Before I can curse him out I see who he was looking at. 'Katie Bell' back from St Mungo's hospital, talking to none other than Harry Potter. He turns and glares daggers at us.

Draco backs away, loosening his tie before walking out of the great hall, looking so guilty for something he didn't even do. I watch him closely as he leaves, noticing Harry trail right after my brother. I quickly start to panic, looking around I notice Atti sitting with Luna and Stella. I march straight over to them. "Atti I need you to come with me. Right now." I say, grabbing him by the arm, pulling him to his feet. "Woah what's the hurry Astra" He questions. "I don't trust the look Harry had in his eyes when he followed Draco just now." I tell him. "I think I know where he went. Fancy paying Moaning Myrtle another visit." I trail, pulling him out into the corridor's. 

We run as fast as we can to the bathroom on the third floor. Draco had spent a lot of time there this year, talking to myrtle when I wasn't able to be around.

"Sectumsempra!" 

We hear Harry curse as we enter the bathroom. "Oh no he didn't" I mutter before pulling out my wand from my boot. "Go get Snape." I say turning back to Atti. He nods and heads off. 

"Expelliarmus"

 I cast, turning back around to disarm a shocked Harry. Before I can run over to Draco I feel an immense pain in my chest. I hobble over to my brothers body which is lying in a puddle of water. He's sobbing as his blood seeps out of his body. Tears flowing from my eyes as I try to say the counter curse. 

"Vul.." 

I cant say the words without crying out in pain. Is this cause of the unbreakable vow. Am I dying along with my brother. I hold his hand as I lean over him sobbing. I couldn't even yell at Harry if I tried. I see a blurry figure heading towards us. Professor Snape has come to our rescue. I start to loose consciousness, last thing I hear is Snape muttering the counter curse over and over.

We wake up in the hospital wing a day later and are able to go back to our usual studying and classes. Draco and I don't get any closer to figuring out the cabinet over the next few months. Which stresses us out even more.
