*I just want to say sorry for not updating earlier, I needed a break after school. If I ever don't update on Friday and I didn't tell you ahead of time, then I will most likely update on Saturday.*
Recap: the doctor comes in 30 minutes later. Great, just great.
Four's P.O.V.
Tris is still asleep in my arms. "Hello. I need to ask a few questions," she says. When all I do is angrily stare at her she takes a seat and says, "Look, I'm very sorry about everything. I totally got out of control and I slapped, punched, and kicked her. I shouldn't have done that." I stare at her for a second. "Did you ever realize that when you where hurting her not only where you reflecting her mother's behavior and making sure that she won't ever open up to you again, but you caused her to fall. On. Her. Back." I say with my words laced with anger. The doctor winces just thinking about it. "I'm very sorry," she says. "You should be. Now, what are the questions,"I say, desperate to get her out the room. "Right."
"Okay, how long have you known?"
"A few weeks."
"Does her back ever hurt?"
"OF COURSE IT DOES!" I yell. Then I remember that Tris is still asleep. Her head moves but she stays asleep.
"I'm sorry, I just need to know if she is making this up," the doctor says. Anger flares inside me but I don't yell so I don't wake my baby.
"Making it up? Are you kidding me? You witnessed first hand her cuts and scars along with the blood coming out and the ambulance ride. Why. Would. She. Lie. About. Something. So. Serious."
"I'm just checking. Now, have you ever witnessed a beating for her?"
No, but I've witnessed the after."
"Okay, now how about odd things that occur after a beating?"
"No. She has an eating disorder but it's getting better."
"Alright. Now is she plugged into any extra curricular activities?"
"Cheerleading."
"Well, that's all. I need to fix her IV's so press this button after she's awake for 10 minutes."
"Sure," I say.
After the doctor leaves I direct my gaze to Tris. She is still incredibly beautiful, adorable even, when she sleeps. And she's mine. Could I be any luckier?

Hi! Sorry it's short, today's my Mom's / my little brother's birthday/ Shawn Mendes' so we are going to set up for a party at noon. (Not for Shawn unfortunately) so I need to help. And I'm very sorry I didn't update yesterday, it was the third day of school and I was drained so I took it easy. I will try to update on Friday's but if I don't for some reason then I probably will on Saturday's! Anyway, have a blessed day!
