Tobias POV
"Stop! Stop! Don't touch him!" I wake up to yelling. I quickly I realize it's Tris. "No!" she yells. I start to shake her shoulders, "Tris, Tris! Wake up!" Her eyes open and she sits up fast, her breathing wild. "Tris, it's okay, calm down," I say and she jerks to look at me. I see relief in her eyes. "You-you were-being beating by M-Marcus!" She says. "Okay, shhh." I say pulling her into my arms.
"It was just a dream." She pulls away, "I know it was now." I smile and she lays back down and so do I. Her head lays on my chest as I start to fall asleep again. "Thank you," she whispers, before dozing off completely. I look at her face and see no signs of tears. At all. I smile, glad that she didn't cry out of fear, that she was able to calm herself down.
Time lapse
I'm released from the hospital and start to go home. I'm still staying at my house, and right now, Tris is coming with me. She's staying tonight because she wants to help with my back.
I open the door to let her in. The house brings back bad memories but I guess as long as he isn't here, it's okay.
Tris sets her bag of clothes down and I here her yawn. "Babe, why don't you lay down. You didn't sleep well last night," I say while guiding her to the couch and sitting down beside her.
She puts her head in my lap while I stroke her hair and put the tv on low. I listen to her even breaths, singling she's asleep.
