THE NEXT DAY
I wake up and see Tris is already up. "Hey babe," I say groggily while sitting up. She turns to me and smiles, "Do you want to go to school today?" she asks. "Umm, probably. I've missed a least a week already," I state.
I go get dressed and when I come down I see Tris waiting for me on the couch. "How about we go to Starbucks for breakfast?" I suggest. She nods and I grab her backpack as well as mine, and get in my Dad's car. "Wait, you can't drive. You're a freshman," she says. Oh shoot, I never told her. "I forgot to tell you....how 'bout we go and I'll tell you there," I say.
Uncertain, she climbs in the car.
