Tris POV
I wake up on a soft couch with a warm body next to me, engulfing me in its warm temperature. "Hey baby," I hear Tobias say.
I soon realize only one eye is open and I desperately try to open the other one, it doesn't work. Panic rises over me as the words, "My eye won't open!" escapes my mouth. I feel his soft hand rub my arm and his gentle voice respond, "It's just swollen. I put some numbing cream on it so you can't feel it."
I feel myself relax a little and lay back down to where I was. "I need to fix the rest, okay?" I nod and he puts ice, some weird cream that feels like exfoliate, more numbing cream, and ice. He holds the ice their and I hear his phone go off.
"Tris, in like 2 hours the gangs coming over, but if you don't feel up to it, we don't have to," Tobias says. "It's fine. Christina isn't going to be here right?" I ask, desperate for a no. "Of course not. Zeke says she isn't in the group anymore," he says.
Time lapse
For our little party, I wear a blue jeans with a blue blouse that has small dots on it. I reach for a blue jean jacket and put that on over it.
Tobias comes upstairs and sees what I'm wearing. "You don't have to wear jeans and a jacket, they all think you were in a wreck, remember?" he says, causing me to smile and take off the jacket and put blue jean shorts instead.
The doorbell rings and I go downstairs to help take out the popcorn and Tobias sees my improved outfit, he smiles and says, "Beautiful."
He opens the door and Zeke and Uriah are there. "Yeah! Let's get this party started!" he screams and runs inside.
