TOBIAS POV
I run to her, my bags flying in my arms. She isn't looking my way, so I yell, "Tris!" Her head snaps in my direction and her eyes light up. She starts running towards me, with her long blonde hair flying. She seems to be more pale than usual, bags under her eyes as if she hasn't slept in a week, and seems a little thinner, not to mention the bruise on her temple, yet, she is still stunning.
We finally reach each other and I pull her into my arms. Just being able to hold her again makes me happy. "Tobias!" She says softly, yet excitedly into my chest. "I missed you so much," she says. "I missed you too, more than you can imagine." She smiles and looks up at me, tears brimming her eyes. I kiss her forehead.
"Are you okay?" She asks, obviously scared of my answer. I nod, "the beatings were just like the old ones, I was just far away this time." She nods, "and Marcus?" She hesitates before asking. I smile even bigger, "gone, he's gone. All gone." She smiles and I kiss her, surprisingly, she kisses back, I know she wasn't ever to big a fan of PDA.
"I love you," I say when we pull back.
"Tobias, I love you too. Now we need to get your back cleaned up," she says. I chuckle about her seriousness. Then her eyebrows raise when we don't start walking. "Wait you were serious?"
