*hi! Don't look at the video yet. It's for later. Also, I DO NOT OWN THIS SONG NOR THIS VIDEO. Okay, here's the update.

Tris POV

I wake up the next morning feeling terrible. Everything still hurts from the beating I was given. I force myself out of my bed and look in my closet. I pull out my black hoodie again and I wear a plain purple shirt underneath with regular blue jeans. Nothing fancy. I do my makeup and when I'm finished, I leave my hair down but I put a nice small 3 strand braid in it as well. I grabbed my converse and walked downstairs.

"Good morning, Princess." My dad says. "'Morning" I say and eat a waffle. I grab some OJ and drain it out of the cup. "Alright, kiddos! To the car!" Dad yells. I slowly and painfully get in and get buckled. Safety first!

When we arrive at school, I keep my head down and walk to my locker. As I'm putting in my combination, I hear, "Hey," behind me. I see Four and smile, then finish putting in my combination. "You feeling better?" He asks. "A little, but it still hurts." He nods and then we start walking to class.

When we get to class, I sit down and Four and I start talking. In the middle of our conversation, my back touched the chair and I bolted upright, pain blossoming all across my back. "Are you okay?" He asks. I sigh. "I think I need stitches." I say. "Yeah, your cuts were pretty deep." Four adds. "Yeah.." There was an awkward silence. Thankfully, Christina burst into the room at that moment. "Tris! I'm having a party tonight and you and Four HAVE to go!" I bite my lip. "Parties aren't really my thing, Chris." I say. They're not. I always feel out of place and nervous. "Tris, it'll be fun!" Christina begs. "I-I don't know. I don't really like being a room where I don't really know anyone. It just doesn't rub right." I say. This time it's Four who speaks up, "We'll all be there. It'll be fine, I promise." Something about his promise changes my mind. I sigh. "Okay." I say. Chris starts screaming and jumping up and down, "YAY! I GET TO HELP GET YOU READY AND EVERYTHING! IT'S GONNA BE SO FUN!" Wow. I think my hearing's damaged. "Christina!" The teacher snaps, who just walk into the room. "Volume!" She stops screaming but she still has a huge smile on her face. The bell rings after that and class starts.

Class was it's usual. Long and boring. When class was over, we went to ELA. Yay! Once again, I'm not going to bore you with school. I was sitting in class, tapping my pencil on my desk, over and over again. When the bell rang, we walked to music. 5 minutes later, class began.

"Today we will go back to individual performances. Pick a song, practice it, then perform it! Have fun!" Tori says. I get to work. After a long time of thinking, I decide to sing Young and Foolish by Alex Aiono. I'm SO obsessed with this song. After I practiced it a few times, I was ready to perform. I was shaking as I went up to Tori. "I'm ready," I say simply. She smiles and nods. "Attention class! We have another performer ready! Tris, the floors yours," Tori says. I cleared my throat. "Um...I'm sing Young and Foolish by Alex Aiono. The music starts and I begin singing.
*you can look at the video now! Just imagine it's Tris singing. I DO NOT OWN THIS SONG NOR THIS VIDEO*

When the songs over every claps and I sit next to Four. "I hope you don't mind that I'm a fool either," Four says. I smile. "You're not a fool," I say and kiss him. When we pull apart, he goes up to Tori and sings Lucky Strike by Maroon 5. Man, he's a great singer. When he's done their are tons of claps and he sits down beside me. We kiss again and are forced to pull apart when the bell rings.

We go to ELA and blah blah blah. Even I was bored. We have HW and I finish it quickly. Then the bell rings for lunch.

I make up, yet another excuse, for me not eating. Four starts really eyeing me, he's getting suspicious. Oh well. I can just deny it if he ever finds out. "Tris and Four are coming to the party!" Christina says, still excited. I roll my eyes. "Don't do that, Tris!" Christina scolds. "Yeah, these parties are sick!" Zeke chimes in. "Definitely," Uriah adds. "I'm not saying they're not, 'sick', parties just aren't really my thing." I say honestly. Uriah chokes on his dauntless cake. "What?!" He says, once he's recovered. "Parties are everyone's thing!" I roll my eyes again. "Technically they aren't. See-" Will gets cut off by Uriah. "Would you shut up already! Parties doesn't need to be involved with geeky math things!" I raise my eyebrows. "What?" Uriah asks. Then I realized what I just did. Yeah, I geek out a lot. Not like, school stuff, but with books and stuff. I've been trying to hide that. "Nothing." I state, blushing. They all raise an eyebrow. "Why are you blushing, Tris?" Christina asks. "N-no reason." I say, stuttering. "Tell us." Shaunna demands. I shake my head no. At my old school, when people found out, I was bullied non stop. It was terrible. I'm not making that mistake again. True, when Four came over Saturday we pointed out things in the movie that was wrong, but the reason that I did that in front of him was because he did it first. He made it seem like it was okay. Besides, he didn't even think twice about it anyway. "Tris..." Christina says. "Tell us...."
"I told you it was nothing now please leave me alone." I say. "Come on, Tris!" Maralyne demands. "Just leave her alone!" Four snaps, making everyone drop it. I look up at him, giving him a thankful expression. He smiles and tugs me into his arms. "Wow. Four's real protective. All we wanted to know was an answer, but no." Zeke says. Four gives him a death glare. Zeke raises his hands as if surrendering. "If looks could kill, man." Zeke adds. They dropped it and I was extremely thankful. I do not. I repeat, I do not! Want to go through that again. The bell rang, signaling lunch was over. Now, science. Oh boy.
