Tobias POV
We had gone to the closest hospital, and after getting 15 stitches in my back, (which is pretty good, compared to what I thought I'd get) I am told to stay the night.
"No! I'm finally able to come home though!" I protest.
"Sorry, but we need to keep an eye on your back. Just to make sure it's healing nicely. If everything goes well, then you will be able to go home tomorrow," the sorta mean nurse explains, then leaves the room. I prefer my doctor, she's more understanding, plus, she isn't rude to Tris like the nurse, 'Are you on your way to M.A.C to get your Makeup done?' she asked, 'no....,' Tris said. 'Oh! Well I had just assumed because you aren't wearing any, so I thought you where going somewhere to get it done, because obviously you can't go in public looking like that, especially around a boyfriend.'
I would have torn her to pieces, but she left the room right after that.
Tris still is tense around Doctors and stuff, even though she isn't the patient. I would say it's cute, but it sounds weird saying, 'it's cute how she's terrified of Doctors.' Her actions are adorable, however. One example is when she scoots closer to me when one comes in. 😇😇😇😇
Tris leaves to get us essentials, including clothes to later change into.
When she comes back, already changed, she hands me my clothes and then I walk into the bathroom to change.
I walk out and see Tris on a chair, which I'm not allowing because I want her in my arms to know she's safe.
"Come here," I say after laying down and motioning her to the bed. She walks over and lays beside me while I wrap my arms around her, with her hands on my waist, careful not to touch any cuts.
As she is about to drift off to sleep, I kiss her forehead, "Good Night, Tris. I love you." She responds groggily, "Goodnight, Tobias. I love you, too."
