Tobias POV
Gently, I take her arm and guide us to the office. "I swear, he is nothing but a-" Tris then speaks in a small voice, cutting me off, "Why did he say that?" I know things like that can get to her, "Tris, he just picks his favorites. It's not right. Don't take it personally." She nods, "I'm just tired of it, at home and now school. I can't do this anymore," she says. " Maybe we can transfer," I say hopefully. She nods and I kiss her head.
We get to the office and are immediately taken back.
"Why?" the principal asks after my explanation, "would you yell at a teacher?" I am shocked, "Why?! He's tormenting my girlfriend! Why would I just let that happen?"
The principal then turns to Tris, "Why don't you stick up for yourself!" Tris sifts in her chair, "The times I had...they didn't work out," she says and I know exactly what she's talking about.
"I'm not going to punish you, but I am transferring you to another science class however," she says. We nod.
By the time this is over, we have to go to math.
