okay so let's go back a bit. avril's been around the 1D orbit for YEARS. she was literally seen at afterparties and random hangs since 2016. she always branded herself as a "directioner" (like?? posting throwbacks, wearing old merch, etc).

but here's the thing:

1. niall never once acknowledged her publicly until the engagement. he REPETITIVELY DENIED every speculation on them. not even a casual follow/comment that screamed "they're close." literally ZERO build-up. it's like they skipped dating and went straight to wedding bells.

2. the timing is sus af. engagement reveal in january, album in march (all "dedicated to her"), and now october pics resurface of niall with a completely different girl. it's giving... stunt damage control.

3. avril's career lowkey skyrocketed post-engagement. her modeling bookings doubled, she suddenly became "the indonesian supermodel engaged to a 1D member." tabloids eat her up every week. it looks mutually beneficial but ngl avril seems to be gaining the most.

the kissgirl in dublin... sorry but the body language is different. the way niall's holding her feels real, not posed. avril/niall pap pics? always stiff, like promo shots.

so my theory:

- kissgirl = actual gf (maybe on-off, maybe kept private).

- avril = "official" fiancée, mostly for PR/glamour, using the 1D connection to boost herself.

- niall stuck in the middle, trying to balance career optics + personal mess.

idk y'all, the math isn't mathing. avril being a "fan" since 2011 just makes it feel like she played the long game and got what she wanted. but real love? i'm not convinced.
