Rewriting?

Hello! long time no see, huh?

I've been thinking about this for a while now, and I wanted to get your thoughts and opinions. if anyone is still interested in this book or cares, that is. It seems the 5sos fandom on here is very minimal now, so your thoughts, readers, is what is important to me.

I wrote this story when i was 15. I am 22 now. How fucking crazy is that? Seven years ago, I wrote this story, thinking it maybe it would get some reads. Looking at it now, i was so wrong.

364k reads and 13.8k votes, and it is still counting up to this day. I couldn't be more grateful for each and every person that even viewed this story, whether they continued reading it or not.

I had originally thought about strictly editing this story, wanting to keep it the same as much as possible. As I went through the process of editing, I realized something—I was 15 years old when I wrote this and it fucking sucks. At the time I had started this story, I thought I was a goddamn poet.

I have never in my life physically recoiled so much as I did going through editing.

Then I thought, 'What if I rewrote this?'. I dismissed the idea, but then once that idea was thought of, I couldn't get it out of my head. I've been sitting with this idea for a year now. So, dear readers, I would like to collect your feedback in this idea.

Would you be interested in revisiting this book?

Would you still read it even after all these years?

Should I keep this version, and publish an updated version separately? Or should I completely scratch everything on here, and start fresh?

I also invite any recommendations! This is only an idea and I value your thoughts and opinions more than my own. Because you read this story. You made this into something bigger than I could ever imagine.
