An Important Notice

Dear everyone,

I am posting this message on the sub-reddit rather than the official message board because I am now aware that all of you spend more time on Reddit and choose to ignore the official communication channels. 

Notice: Despite today being White Day, it is also a work day and we have a meeting with a very important client, followed by the mission they have for us as well as EOD report submission and other necessary paperwork. Please try to focus on work today; I hope to not have to see idle chatter regarding White Day in the workplace. In return, you all may go home early as soon as the items on the agenda are fulfilled.

What the hell is a White Day?

Hello, I (25F) still work with the weirdest group of people. So today, my very serious 'stick-up-the-ass' co-worker used our private subreddit to make a notice asking all of us to basically shut the fuck up about white day and properly do our work instead. Which, fair, right?

But here's my question that none of these people want to answer. What on earth is White Day??? Why is it so important that my colleague thinks all of us are going to ignore work to talk about it?

Of course, ignore the fact that most of co-workers would ignore work to focus on a fly on the wall, but that's not the point.

So yes, someone please help me out. What the hell is White Day?
