Dear Prison Diary,

I was having a strange sense of deja vu coming along. I previously remembered lying there on that bed all bored with no one to talk to. Hmm, when was that? Oh yeah, just the day before.

I sighed while twisting and turning on my bed. My pillow was still slightly damp from my wet hair after washing it and it just made me a lot colder than I already was. I sneezed and covered my nose with my sleeve. It was not pretty.

I rubbed my sleeve on the covers. I promise I'm not that gross all the time!

I was so bored. If I knew that this was what prisoners had to go through all day I would never have considered going through with the voting plan. Which as you can tell was a total bust.

Remember when I said I was going to make my mother proud? Well I knew she wouldn't have been proud of me right then. She was probably shaking her head at me from up in heaven and I didn't blame her. I felt like a total let down.

Who couldve felt worse than I did?!

'Maybe you should think about the girl who was just crying a few hours ago?!' my conscience said

'Oh, shut up conscience! You think you're so smart when actually-'

But my conscience was right!

I was acting a little selfish. Violet wads crying hours ago and I hadn't checked on her since cause I was too busy complaining about my boredom. She just walked over to her dark special corner and sat there the whole time.

'Maybe I should see if she's okay.' I thought.

'She probably won't want your company anyway.' my conscience told me.

'Conscience I swear you are so freaking bipolar!'

I sat up in my bed while clutching the sheet against myself. It was getting colder in there by the second and I shivered. I slowly looked over at Violet expecting her to still be her non-emotional self and staring down at her hands when in fact she was clutching her body and her eyes were closed.

'Oh, my god. She fell asleep!'

I quickly tried to get out of bed when instead my sheets must have enjoyed my company because it tangled all around me ankle and I tripped and fell off my bed landing hard on my hands.

I let out a loud cuss that echoed around the room. Looking up at Violet I saw that she was still fast asleep and didn't wake up from my yelling.

'Phew, that was close.' I slowly stood up and looked at my hands. There were pieces of pebbles digging into my palms. I quickly brushed them off onto my clothes and winced from the pain. Man did it hurt.

I hesitantly stepped closer to Violet and stood over her. Looking down at her I started noticing how.....pretty she looked while sleeping. Couldn't believe I thought that but it was true.Violet looked almost peaceful and at ease. Her eyelashes were long and they layed softly on her pale cheeks. Her hair layed slightly on her forehead so only one side of her face was fully visible. She had her legs pressed up against her chest and she clutched them tightly and protectively.

I wish I could have had one of those cameras so I could have taken a picture of something so rare but I bet the guards would have taken it from me anyway.

I stepped a little closer and leaned in close to her face. She was slightly frowning even though she looked innocent and it was an interesting sight to see. My face was just a couple inches away from hers when suddenly she moved and said something.
