Dear Prison Diary,
The room was absolutely silent except for the occasional drip of water from the pipes on the ceiling.
It was actually very peaceful, yet my mind felt the urge to wake me up even though my body didn't want to.
My eyes fluttered open and I blinked them hard trying to repair my vision, for some reason it was very blurry.
I appeared to be laying down and my eyes flicked from side to side.
'Okay good, I'm in my cell.' I said in my head.
I pushed my hands onto the bed and tried to sit up but out of nowhere a swelling pain pierced the back of my head making me hiss.
I groaned and brang my hand up to the back of my head putting a slight pressure on it.
"Oww...what the hell.." I groaned out while squinting my eyes tightly.
I finally sat all the way up even though I felt dizzy and numb. I inhaled and exhaled slowly trying to concentrate on the pain.
'What is it? And where did it come from?'
"How does it feel?" A voice said from behind startling me so much that I yelped and my head hurt even more. I turned around and there, of course, I saw Violet leaning on the cold cell walls casually. She had been standing there the whole time.
"How does what feel? The pain?" I asked her annoyed and massaged my temples.
She rolled her eyes and pushed herself off of the wall walking slowly towards me and sitting about a foot away from me on the bed. "Obviously the pain. How bad does it hurt?" She asked me softly and she actually sounded concerned.
"It feels like you punched me," I said jokingly and shook my head. Then my eyes grew narrow with suspicion. "Y-You didn't punch me...did you?" When I looked over at Violet her hand motioned briefly to her mouth almost as if she was snickering but then she moved it away quickly when I looked at her.
"What....happened to me?" I asked her my voice shaking a bit. Whatever happened was something that I just could not remember. I thought it must have been gruesome.
"Oh...your clumsy ass slipped on a lunch tray and bashed your head on the floor." Violet said nonchalantly and began to pick at her nails.
I stared at her, obvious disappointment and also shock on my face. I thought it would have been something more...what's the word?...Serious.
But no all I did was slip and fall like an idiot.
All of a sudden it was starting to come back to me. Every single little thing. Me chasing after Layna, finding her and Skunk, confronting Skunk, making Layna cry, Skunk telling me something strange, and then I was knocked out.
Remembering everything gave me a headache and just made the pain even worse. I winced and brang my hand to the back of my head again putting pressure on it.
"Oh yes....I remember now." I said with a light but painful chuckle. I pulled my hand away from my head and looked down at it expecting to see blood but I guess it must have dried.
"Yeah...I had to drag you in here by your arms." She replied with a sigh and kept her eyes on my forehead staring straight at it.
I looked at her surprised. She dragged me in there. I figured she would have just left me out there to die. Well, that was what I figured...
"You dragged me in here? You didn't have to do that. Why didn't you just let one of the guards do it?" I asked her curiously and at the sound of the word "guards," Violet tensed up slightly. Her eyes dropped from my forehead to my eyes.
