Dear Prison Diary,
Before I could even ask Violet what she meant by that the loud alarm system from before went off. I pressed my hands hard over my ears and winced as I was starting to feel a headache coming on. Violet, however, stood there calmly like the alarm didn't even irritate her. She looked up to the ceiling of the cell and her face stayed emotionless. She mustve been used to it.
To the side of us our cell door slid open with a loud rusting sound that added on to the alarm system hurting my brain even more. We both looked towards the door and saw all the prisoners stepping out of their cells quickly walking towards the metal tables.
'Oh God. Not Lunch Hour again.' I thought.
My thoughts immediately went to the last lunch hour and how horribly wrong that went. I had a feeling today wouldn't be any better.
My eyes widened with fear as I saw all the prisoners rushing about without caring if they knocked each other down. They were all very strong while I was just well not particularly strong.
I looked to Violet and her lips pulled into that tiny smirk that I despised and without a moment of hesitation she exited the cell towards the rushing crowd.
'Oh no, you don't. Not again!'
I rushed after her just as fast not without being bumped into by at least two prisoners. I kept my eyes right on Violet and didn't avert them anywhere else because I knew if I looked away she would be gone in a flash.
She was walking rather quickly but she wasn't rushing. It was like that was her natural walk while in the meantime I was basically running after her trying my best not to lose her.
That was not the end of our discussion and I wasn't going to just leave it there.
For the first time in a while, determination surged through my veins. Ah, how I'd missed that feeling.
Running after Violet was tiring but I wasn't going to let her get away that easily. She just opened up to me. Well, kind of sort of but you know what I mean.
Man, I hoped they gave us water because I felt like I was going to pass out while running after this girl. My eyes were still locked on her when suddenly some girl to the right of me punched another girl right in the face. This averted my attention from Violet who was in front of me to the girls beside me who were now fighting savagely.
The one who got punched was now pinning the girl who punched her on the floor and she smacked her. 'Ooh, that one had to hurt.' I was watching this scene with fascination still while running as quickly as I could.
Suddenly my body came in contact with a hard surface and I fell to the floor with a thud landing on my butt. I cursed and groaned rubbing my bottom. Now that did hurt.
I looked up and noticed that no one paid any attention to me when I fell. No, all their attention was drawn to what was in front of me. What was in front of me you ask?
I looked up and in front of me, I saw Violet. She stood there with her posture straight and her body not moving. I suppose that as I was running I stopped paying attention and didn't notice that Violet stopped walking.
But why did it feel like I just made contact with a wall?
This girl was dense as hell.
But seriously she didn't even move an inch not even one centimeter!! Man, I really mustve been as deadly as a feather.
