Dear Prison Diary,

"So yeah...I have a question." Skunk announced to all of us as soon as we were seated at the table. She didn't even miss a beat. Right when we sat down, she started talking.

I mentally sighed in my head. 'Is she going to ask what I think she's going to ask?' I thought in my head. There were still prisoners staring our way, towards our table, whispering and chattering amongst themselves. It irked me but, what could I do?

Both Layna and I, looked up at Skunk, while we were almost ready to pick up our forks. I already knew the look I was giving her. A look that said "Just leave it alone. Leave it alone now!" I was demanding her with my eyes and she looked directly at them  and gave me a condescending smirk.

I almost couldn't read Layna's look. It was confusing. Her big blue eyes centered on Skunk and narrowed a little, to above an inch. Almost like she was saying "We talked about this.."

"What exactly happened yesterday?" Skunk asked us with a curious expression. I heard Layna let out a small sigh as she heard it. I, on the other hand, just stared at her, intensely, angry that she didn't listen. But why would she? She didn't even like me.

Everyone was quiet. Violet had her back turned to everyone so I couldn't see her expression but I already knew that she didn't want to hear this now. Layna was looking worried, worried that we didn't want to talk about it now. She was right.

I figured that I just had to play it dumb.

"What exactly do you mean?" I asked her with my best "I have no idea what you're talking about" impression. She squinted her eyes at me, making her scar move. I stared at it and then looked back down at my tray.

"You know what I mean!" She spoke louder with a hiss. "That whole scene where you and your cellmate over here were screaming at each other and crying every second. You know that doesn't sit well in prison. These bitches are starting not to respect me because of you two dandelions." Skunk replied, starting to get a little testy. She was talking about both of us but she pointed her finger directly at me just to tick me off.

"Skunk...Just calm down.." Layna murmured softly as she saw more prisoners start to glance our way.

"Maybe you shouldn't get your ass beat by one." I replied quickly with a shrug and kept my eyes on the table.

"Avalon!" Layna squeaked and hit me on the arm lightly. It didn't hurt.

"You wanna get your ass beat right now?" Skunk snarled angrily, starting to stand up. This caused me to look over at Violet. I saw that her shoulders were starting to tense up but she didn't turn around. She didn't have to do anything. I didn't want her to do anything. But I was just wondering....If she would.

"I'm not here to fight you Skunk, I just wanna eat that's all." I replied calmly and I could see Violet's shoulders relax and a small smile appeared on my face. It was immediately wiped away when I heard Skunk's voice once more.

"Yeah well, maybe you should try to control that big mouth of yours then no one would want to fight you!" Skunk yelled in my face still while standing up. I looked up slowly and my eyes met hers. I tried to come up with a comeback but nothing came to mind. She was right. She was absolutely right even if I didn't want to admit it.

"Now you can eat as soon as you tell me what was going on between the both of you!" She yelled again and this time more serious. I could feel my collectives start to diminish. At this rate I was going to explode in her face and then there'd be another event for the prisoners to talk about.
