Author notes:

I'M ALIVE!!!

Guys, I'm so sorry for the delay. I had a lot of doubts about how to write this chapter. I already have the basics for the story, but I still need to put together the skeleton. Besides that, I got busy with other stories, other hobbies, and responsibilities in my personal life, but I'm back. I had a click, and then I started translate this chapter non-stop. I really hope you like it.

Oh, and one detail: Since none of the Wild Hunt members, besides Syura, appear in the anime and consequently don't have official voice actors, here are some voice ideas for you to imagine for them:

Dorothea: Jenna Ortega, with the voice she uses for Wednesday in the titular series.

Enshin: Steve Buscemi, who also voiced Randall Boggs in "Monsters Inc." franchise, Wayne in "Hotel Transylvania" franchise and Starscream in "Transformers One".

Izou: Ian McShane. More specifically, the tone he uses for Tai Lung in "Kung Fu Panda".

Cosmina: Jackie Buscarino. Specifically, the tone she uses for Pacifica Northwest in "Gravity Falls".

Jake: Bill Nighy. More specifically, the tone he uses for Rattlesnake Jake in "Rango".

Now enjoy! 👍📖📚

[Unknown point in the sea; late afternoon]

[Inser this soundtrack: Destiny of the Primes — Brian Tyler]

In the middle of the sea, several boats floated calmly near some kind of fortress. It was almost entirely made of wood with a dull, lifeless hue, filled with towers, and something seemed to be going on within them.

Then, we get a view from inside the fortress. There, several men kept dragons locked inside cages. The reptiles behaved in different ways: Some snarled and roared at their captors, others thrashed around trying to break free from their prisons, while others simply remained silent, looking depressed.

The latter was the case for one of the imprisoned dragons, a Thunderclaw. It was medium-sized, had light green scales, sails along its back, a rounded nasal horn, and a rounded protrusion beneath its chin.

It stared sadly at the waning moon in the dark sky above, missing the ability to fly. Missing its freedom.
