[Kyoroch; Night Raid's hideout]

It had been 7 days since the clash between Tatsumi and the deceased Seryu. Night Raid took a week off, mainly so Tatsumi could recover from his injuries. He did recover, but... he was quite quiet. He was very quiet and barely left his hideout except to carry out some task.

At this moment, the focus is on one of the rooms. More specifically, the one where Akame was sleeping. The girl slept like a baby, however, she hears animalistic growls. Slightly opening one of her scarlet eyes, her initially blurred vision becomes clearer.

The swordswoman sits up in bed and stretches, before rubbing her eyes.

Akame: Hmm, it's already morning... I'm hungry. - She murmurs.

As she hears the growls and grunts continue to ring out, she looks in front of her bed, where Jade is calling her pilot and Pinky is flapping her wings happily amidst joyful roars, both dragons eager to start the day.

Akame: Good morning, girls. - She greets the flying reptiles.

Hearing a yawn next to her, Akame sees Mine get up from the bed and rub her eyes. The sniper stretches while Pinky is excited to see her pilot wake up.

Akame: Did you sleep well, Mine?

Instead of looking at her friend, the pinkette looks at the bedroom window. Almost in a whisper, she answers the question.

Mine: I think...

[Outside; two hours later...]

Lubbock and Mine were outside the hideout, being accompanied by Akame and Susanoo.

Lubbock: Well, I guess we're going... We should come back later tonight. - He states, smiling.

Susanoo: Make sure to stay away from the cathedral. Security there has been extremely high since Tatsumi's encounter with Seryu. We dealt some heavy blows to the Jaegers, so they're out for blood, we need to be extra careful.

Lubbock: Yeah, yeah, we get it... - The greenish-haired man groans, letting out a heavy sigh as he shoved his hands in his pockets and turned his head away from Susanoo - There's no point in even getting close to there when we don't have a plan.

Susanoo: I also prepared lunch for you guys. - Susanoo adds as he handed the carefully wrapped boxes to Mine.

Mine: Thank you very much, Susanoo. - She thanks him, taking the boxed snacks - I really love your food!

Susanoo: Akame helped too... - He says as he gives the red-eyed assassin a disapproving look, making her blush and fidget in embarrassment - ...But she also ate almost half of it.

Akame: I'm sorry, Mine... - She says sincerely, bowing her head in apology - I just wanted to try it, but... you know how tasty Susanoo's food is... I just couldn't resist...

Mine: ... I can imagine. - The artilleryman says dryly.

The pink-haired girl, however, looks at the entrance to the hideout, knowing that someone among them was absent. As if she was thinking the same thing as Mine, Akame decides to say something.
