„Dear Diary,

I'm still baffled at how today went down. Sometimes I question my choice in friends greatly. I have done nothing wrong today, yet somehow I turned out to be the bad one in all of it? It's so unfair. I want to scream and show them the middle finger and as harsh as it may seem, just give them the cold shoulder for a while, until they get their wits back.

You need to see, today I decided to not join them on the way down to Hogsmeade. No harm done, they have each other anyways, I haven't ditched on anything too serious. Like yes we were excited for the first trip, but it's not like I cancelled the whole Hogsmeade event. Gemma wasn't alone either, she still had her brother and his friends. And what I knew, that Louis would settle with them after being on his date.

Fred was fine with my choice anyways, he was so sweet today. But back to that later. One thing at a time.

So, I retreated myself into a quiet corner of the castle and had a go in drawing again. I forgot how much I loved drawing and how much it calmed me. So no surprise that I took my time there, I almost missed lunch in the Great Hall. So there was me there, a fellow Ravenclaw girl in fourth year, two Slytherin boys from third grade, a Hufflepuff boy and girl from sixth grade and two fourth years. And of course every student from second and first grade. And it annoyed me that we were so little older students and yet no one sat together. So I took matters into my own hands.

I sat next to the Ravenclaw girl, whose name is Lola, she's really nice actually, and then almost forced the Slytherin boys to sit with us. At first they tried to ignore me, I was persistent, Lola thought it was funny how I baited them. In the end, they actually listened and sat down next to us, even if a bit pessimistic and skeptical. After getting my vision, they helped me recruit the Hufflepuffs. For some strange reason, they were the hardest to persuade. But we did it. It was great.

I learned a lot about them and lunch time wasn't as lonely. Maybe I make too much out of it, but I think I formed a bit of an unwanted friend group there. Ah I'm just so great.

If only Gemma would see it that way as well. When she got back from Hogsmeade and saw me sitting with Lola and the others, she ignored me. She didn't come to me or say hello, she simply walked past me. At first I just let her, I was confident she just needed something out of the dorm or had to do something more important, later I couldn't shake the feeling that something was indeed wrong. So I excused myself from the others, we were sitting in the entrance hall playing some exploding snap, and went to look for her.

I couldn't find her in our dorm, not the common room or the library. I tried to track her down, found Louis while doing so, but he dismissed me. Claiming he had to find Allison and doesn't have time for me. He was almost a bit harsh, but I figured maybe they had a fight in Hogsmeade or something. I found Gemma, but she wasn't as happy to see me. I started to talk about my day and just when I was about to ask her how the trip was, she snapped at me. Which took me off guard. She claimed I could have known how the trip was. She was clearly furious with me. I tried to talk with her, get to the bottom of the sudden anger, I had no chance. She accused me of not caring about any of them and being too selfish. That I am not reliable. I was hurt, the way she said it, yes, but I can't deny at how angry I got. Before I was able to get an explanation why she suddenly decided to be a drama queen she left.

So I went to find Sean, which is the biggest hint to what happened. I wanted answers. In front of the Hufflepuff common room, I looked at the picture. Determined to get in. The luck was on my side, because Gerald, the lad I befriended with earlier, found me and let me in with him. I scanned the room, some gave me a strange look, though nobody seemed to care that I invaded their space. Gerald offered to look in the dorms for Sean and I thanked him for it.
