"It's better to be late than to arrive ugly"- Darcy Gilmore

Taylor's POV

My tardiness caused me. I was forced to watch the other girls tentatively as they prepare for the dance. We were all learning a new routine we had to perform and I was 10 steps behind.

Thank God I was a fast learner.

My eyes were bouncing between the instructor and myself in the mirror as I copied his moves. They were rigorous and synchronized to be performed at an exact drop of a beat. He only repeated his steps twice and if you didn't catch it the first time, you would be lost forever.

To say I was flustered would be an understatement. I didn't have the first part of the routine down packed and no one was repeating it for me.

Apparently, it was 30 of us and we were all split into three groups of 10. Out of those 10, 5 people would be chosen for the second round, and from there 3.

Everyone was fighting for a top spot and they didn't care who got left behind. Hence, me.

Releasing an exaggerated breath, I tied my hair up in a ponytail and placed the number that a tall, dark guy give me on my chest. Number 28. Judging by the order they were going in I was in the last group. Which was good for me, because I get to see the first routine performed twice.  I walked along the wall with my group and sat down, rehearsing the moves in my head continuously.

"Ok, beautiful ladies and gentlemen, I am PG" the dance choreographer waved. I was so caught up in trying to get the routine right, I didn't notice how boisterous he was until I finally study his appearance. He had pink-dyed hair and the sharpest grey eyes I had ever seen, complimented by a straight nose and thin lips. He was short-built, but you can see he had a body of a man that moved a lot. His outfit was a mixture of neon colors, pink and green.

"As you all know, you have been chosen by your separate dance leaders to perform before the gorgeous Chance himself"

There was an erupt of claps and screams, but I remain silent.

"Yes, yes. Bear in mind, all of you won't be dancing with him. Only 9 persons would share that amazing dream" PG warned, staring at all with a stern eye " Remember 3 groups of 10 first round, 2 groups of 7, and 8 final round. There is only one routine, so this should be a piece of cake"

Yeah right! That one routine is harder than level 65 on Candy Crush.

"Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome Chance ...and friends?"

Screams and woos burst through the studio as Chance and two guys flanked his sides sauntered in. I swear I heard faucets running from the number of girls screaming and fanning themselves. I even saw some of the guys blushing.
