"I just want to thank you for being the reason I look forward to the next day. "

                                                                                                                                        ~My Dear Valentine

Chance's P.O.V

When I was younger, I woke up with my mom playing some 80's tune and the smell of breakfast seeping in from under my door.

When I got into my young teenage years to early adulthood, I started waking up with massive headaches and some girl I didn't know besides me.

The room was one of the hotels I would only be in for a short time and the smell of it was drowning in marijuana and other illegal stuff.

Then, I started waking up with the fear of someone coming after me because of the target on my back.

Now, in my present, I was waking up to something I didn't know I could have.

I literally was opening my eyes to the love of my life. Someone I genuinely couldn't see myself living without.

Her hair was sprayed everywhere and running like a waterfall over my arm that held up her head. Her hands were tucked under mines and her leg was thrown across my thigh.

She was balled under me and I love it.

I love this feeling of her moving toward me in her sleep. My body overshadowing hers. Protecting her, somehow.

This I could get used to.

This, I need it.

The alarm of my phone went off and she squirmed shooting one of her legs away from me, but still very close to me.

I reached over to her and picked up my phone seeing I had a text message from an Unknown number.

That was rare, considering I changed my number recently.

I usually change my number every six months. There were a lot of crazy fans out there that actually finds it.

I slid over my password and open my text app to see the message.

Incoming Text Message from Unknown Number

Your life will be changed beautifully.

I read it over and over.

I wanted to believe that it was just something inspirational that was sent to my phone, but my brain wouldn't allow me to be stupid.

Something was behind this text, but I didn't know what.

It didn't feel good either.

I instantly felt like it was the Fernandez brother's again. Maybe, they hadn't died as Tay had told me and they were sending out a warning that they were coming for me.

I bolted up, causing a sleeping Taylor to groan in response.

My hands started trembling as I studied the number.

It wasn't an England number, but the Fernandez Brothers didn't need that.

"Baby?" Taylor's hand grasped around my bicep, but I was still focused on the text message. My mind going 15,000 miles per minute.

I couldn't go through with this again. I couldn't put Taylor through with this again.

If they were still alive and after me, then I have to call this a quit.
